in this totally unhinged episode of farming for a character, in which I build elemental mastery xinyan (as well as her normal build) - I go completely nuts really, play minesweeper and learn about other culture's ways to celebrate easter (apparently not everyone picks up choccy eggs from the grass, lmao)
actually had a lot of fun recording this, being unhinged funny at times- hopefully it didn't get obnoxious.. being tired + excited is not really it for "bearability"? LMAO you get what i mean

If your Xinyan is C6, her charged attacks boost her attack by 50% of her defense. Redhorn is very good on her because of that, and because of the way it works, if you dash cancel out of a charged attack and immediately burst, you can keep that attack buff just in time for the burst hit to land. More people should play Xinyan. She's terrible, but so fun.

so i tested this out (CA into burst) and it doesn't seem to work
i'm pretty sure it's because her burst doesn't snapshot, so the buff runs out by the time the physical damage hits

Idk if anyone is interested, but about the perfume tradition:
On Easter morning boys and men would get up fairly early and visit all the female friends and family (and traditionally going door to door in their village). When they arrive, the women would line up and the men would often recite a little spring-themed poem and then at the end ask if they’re allowed to “water” the women with water - just like you would do with a plant.
It’s because of symbolism, that women are like pretty flowers that need to be watered in order to fully bloom and not wither away - so the men “water” the women in order for them to remain pretty and healthy this year too.
After this the men would receive the eggs painted by the women the previous day. The men would be offered some little treats too, small cakes or salty snacks along with a few drinks, a bit of alcohol for the adults.
Then they would leave and visit the next house, and the whole thing repeats itself.
And yeah, getting drunk by the end of it isn’t unheard of, but usually not preferred. (“watering” ends by noon, it isn’t the best to be drunk so early.)
Now, that’s the traditional way, in modern times guys prefer to carry perfume bottles and “water” with that, but some still use water just for the laughs. (And because it’s for the laughs, they use too much water, like an entire bucket’s worth.)
Lately it’s also been common to give younger boys some change with the painted egg, as a little bonus.
I think this tradition is alive in multiple countries in Europe (perhaps outside too, idk) so there are probably multiple versions of it, this is just one of them. But I figured I’d share it just in case anyone is curious.

There is actually a minesweeper minigame in Genshin impact as well ! in the chasm you have to find a chest in a field and avoid the explosif barells. if you're close to a barell you find something. 1 is a cabbage, 2 is an ore.

Also I love how horrified you sounded at our Slovak easter traditions, most of us find them very random and kinda unfair, girls are expected to give the boys some kind of a gift for the whiping/splashing - it used to be painted eggs in the past but nowadays they just get money.
Sorry for rambling about slovak traditions, it just makes me really happy when someone is at least a tiny bit interested in my country.

Hungary does that aswell!! We paint our eggs red and give them to boys if they sing a lil or tell a poem and put parfume on our head (back in the day it was cold water xd)

Xinyan main since her debut in 1.1 here! Im so happy more and more people are trying Xinyan. I have 2 piece bloodstained 2 piece pale flame on her with a recently aquired bacon of the reed sea as an upgrade to her wolf's gravestone. I recently hit 30k normal atks on the scara boss (48k in normal atk crits i think) in co op with no superconduct support, there was someone playing Yun Jin tho so im super excited to keep going with her since i know her normals can do as much as other elenental type people now. If you want more help on Xinyan builds Xinyan mains is a thing so yeah.

@@RednasYo i know right? Everyone in the co op game was asking about it after the fight before we got kicked by the host. Im very curious about the Yun Jin's build because i know 2 geo 2 pyro is viable for Xinyan as well (although in that game we only had the 1 geo 1 pyro, i think we also had a hydro and i think a dendro). Obviously c6 triple crowned, with an atk% sands because its ok if i take a bit of damage to proc bacon's effect. Im pretty sure with redhorn plus c6 def% sands is also viable so im also saving for that to see the damage difference for myself since i also have a decent def% sands. Im still working on my Xinyan to one day have the most powerful version of her because shes fun to play for me and she really does have the potential to shine with her high base atk for a 4 star and her c2 guarenteed crit rate to her burst.
@@silverstuff1146 - Makes me wonder how she'd do with R5 Starsilver. On my f2p challenge account I run that on Razor and he stomps with it. Better than WGS, plus that's my old main's sword... Chongyun lol, he ain't letting go of it, to the point that Diluc ended up running Sac GS (which is honestly hilarious on him because it almost always procs skill reset, which means 6 skill presses instead of 3). Either way, I'll never build Xinyan because Hoyo honestly did her dirty and even if I could stand her personality (I can't, I really can't... sucks cuz she's got one of the few darker skin colors)... well, she makes me motion sick. It's the drum on her back, I wish they'd stop designing characters with bobbing stuff like that. x.x

I love Xinyan. I'm happy she gets to show up in a bunch of story quests. I built her full DEF Tenacity to user her shield. Somehow due to substats she also does ok damage whenever I hit with her.

Im Czech and our traditions with slovakia are literally like,, the same
we do whip women so they are healthy and beautiful for the whole year, but if you come after lunch time (12-1pm) you will be splashed with water because theyre basically late
anyway women give them hard boiled eggs we design with colors for that, while I know some give money but my town gives the eggs, candy or just straight up chocolate bunnies
mostly children do that and if its a adult, its mostly for their family. Also there is a time that when its the leap year (with the 29th february), girls go whip instead of guys on eastern!

that easter tradition is also present in some places in hungary. women prepare hand-decorated eggs and dress in a traditional festive outfit and wait for men at the front gate. when the men arrive they would recite a poem (that usually involves the blooming of flowers) and soak the women with buckets of cold water from the wells to bless them with fertility. in return women hand out the eggs as gifts, treat them to drinks and food and change into a new set of even fancier clothes for the next batch of visitors. (if they run out of clothes they'll stay in their wet one)
in most places however people use perfume and chocolate eggs now.

Pyro Xinyan exists, but you'll get more damage out of her with a phys build. Pyro Xinyan is okay in mono pyro teams or if you build her more as a shield/pyro application
Xinyan's damage doesn't scale off of DEF until c6, but even then it's better to focus on the normal DPS substats. It's like how Ayato's HP subscaling works.
In Minesweeper, if you have a bomb marked with 1's around it, all of the blank squares around the 1's should be safe since there can only be one bomb in their vicinity

And the "2" link the left box and bottom one you already mark which means the middle one is clear. But you figured it out anyway. 😆 I used to play Minesweeper too and it's RNG at the start and logic towards the end.
The flower your new friend ask for Nahida is the Kalplatata lotus which is the ones hanging on cliffs probably, which is why your Niloplatata lotus is still intact 😂

BUT there actually is a minesweeper mini game in genshin! In the chasm there is a guy with a house and garden, who has you try to find a treasure chest with out touching any mines.
