Every transition between clips is seamless. Look closely at each frame. When stein appears in front of the werewolf, the background shifts as he moves. When the clouds under the moon become the smoke. It's all truly magnificent.
I tried to watch Soul Eater once and didn't get pass the first episode. Maybe I started to watch it at the wrong time and didn't give it a chance. But if this awesome AMV proves anything, it looks like Soul Eater is a freaking awesome anime XD I will defo give it another chance :D
Yeah I know what you mean. When you're use to the eng dub voices, you asscoiate it with them and its kinda nice. I know for a fact that the guy in Soul Eater, don't his name but he is the one which turn into a sythe I thnk, has the same voice actor that plays Ichigo from Bleach. So I think I might check it out! Usually people don't put songs like 'phoenix' with soul eater, since the anime has a more twisted, demented and crazy tone, so they usually go for creepy songs, but this was really good! U made good use of the scenes and the lyrics and made it fit, despite the anime tone and the song being completely different.
this amv is insanely good, one of the best i've ever seen the flow is amazing, because audio and video fit perfectly and the transitions are godlike this is proof that amvs don't need overused video effects, but the right choice of scenes, song and transitions

It is. So many try to use filters and fancy over-editing to make it look good. Proper selection of clips and music is all that's needed for good AMVs.
