Not just the ones who've regrettably passed away but every single cast member of this show were truly a special breed that transcended the business, never been done before hasn't been done since, they were the true pioneers of they're time and will never be forgotten 💯
The words 'remember, remember' in the lyrics is such a perfect choice for this unforgettable song and it really makes you feel you will never forget them; at least I won't..
OMG its COCO(ERICA GIMPLE)!!! This made my night! i love this show and coco was one of my favorites on here! Brings tears all over again . . I miss this show!
Soooooo INSPIRATIONAL! It was kind of disappointing how a lot of the other actors throughout the years on the Fame TV series weren't at this "reunion" type of episode, but it's still MEMORABLE!
Loved the movie as well as the TV series. It was my favorite. Came across this video in remembrance of Irene Cara who recently passed away 11-25-2022. May she rest in peace.
My gosh, this was such a great ending. Im glad I didnt see it then I would have cried buckets, its amazing. My two favourite characters were there, Bruno and Coco. Was I the only one who thought they should have ended up together?
IMO, the only way this could have been bettered is if the final shot was only of Debbie Allen, Gene Anthony Ray, Erica Gimpel, Lee Curreri, Valerie Landsberg, Carlo Imperato,Carol Mayo Jenkins, and Albert Hague, the ones who started it all.
They would not have stood for that. They would have wanted it just the way it was, with everyone who contributed to the show, because it wasn't all about "The ones who started it all."

Same here, I had know idea Coco (Erica Gimpell) came back for the very last show!! She was my favorite character on that show. I hope they release the rest on the season on DVD!!
I remember being very depressed that Nicole was not here for this reunion, even though it was a fictional death. She was such a part of this show, it's a shame she had to miss it.
@MissSai99 Well, it was a TV show, not an actual musical so they cast primarily for actors. And with Debbie Allen they of course needed good dancers, so singers weren't the priority. And in musical theater, in acting schools they have to teach actors to be singers and dancers, so actually a lot of the original cast was pretty authentic.
Season One is being released a third time in January separate from season two which is also being released separately. Leroy is on the season one cover and Coco is on the season two cover.
Anyone ever notice that Danny went to that school for the entire run of the show and never moved on like the rest of his original cast of classmates? At the end of the show it still seemed like he was a student

I think the same as you. After Fame everything in tv series and show became ''from bad to worse'' , such a shame...Where are the ARTISTS who deserve fame and respect? So here we are watching these videos, missing these wonderful TRUE and complete talents, and some tears of joy and homesick roll down on our faces...
i remember watching a rerun of the final episode of Fame on VH1 in june 2001 i was 12 going on 13 when VH1 had a Fame marathon i cant believe American cable networks didnt air reruns of the TV show Fame (based on the movie) in the 1990s
@cogentdiversion True, but unlike some of the "school of the arts" shows these days, not everyone in a performing arts school is a singer. Dancers and actors are taught to sing and read music. And fame, given the nature of the scripts needed to cast actors first and foremost. You can see the difference in a lot of the "high school musical" type shows that may cast singers primarily, but the acting skills of their casts woefully lacking. Which in fact isn't all that unique these days.
Where can I watch entire episodes? They used to be available on youtube, and I can't find them anywhere else... I bought seasons 1 and 2, but I just can't find the others.
I remember seeing this last episode vaguely, but I forgot how it ended. Could someone answer for me did that school close in the final episode? Or was it closing? Just a quick note. The original high school or performing arts moved from near original building near the Theater district, to a bigger space in the Lincoln Center area.
@ISUPPORTANON it's the same to me...and if I am a musician it's because of FAME! :-) I will certainly sing with my choir a song of the show...sooner or later...
