Like, 5 layer-thick walls with reinforced obsidian in the middle. I'm also a fan of keeping my distance, so Infinity bows, piercing crossbows, fireworks. The kinda stuff that puts distance, and craters, between me and the hordes.

In order for slabs to prevent spawning, they need to be on the bottom half of a block, not the top. If you can place torches on top of them, they are in the wrong spot. Also, you can use a half slabs to create a half-block tall space that you can hit zombies through, but not allow baby zombies to come through and attack you.

A tip for digging down is to do it two columns wide. Did down three, make sure it's safe, then drop down and get the other three. Keep cobblestone in your off-hand so if lava or something starts to come in you can pillar up to safety before it gets to you.

Hey if you see the horde of zombie, use the explosive if you don't have explosion then run and fast you can, use fire and lava on zombie. Find the vehicle or craft vehicle you need to escape from zombie and fuel you need for vehicle

I just realized, instead of making an iron helmet, u could have made either an iron axe and an iron sword or an iron pickaxe and an iron sword, keep up the good work tho and a way to get back to where you were mining is put one torch at the end of the area where the mine is and so when your exploring you'll see that 1 torch and know to go that way! I was watching this whilst it was raining and it made me feel a lot better
What I love about your 100 day challenges is, rather than just simply surviving, you have some sort of goal and the videos are much more compelling for it. And for not even having 10 videos on your channel, they are always top-tier, high-quality, well-composed, well-edited, damn near cinematic masterpieces. Hi shadow! I know it's been a year, but just a hot tip! When using slabs, place them a block down (to where if you place a crafting table on a slab it looks like it's floating). When you place a slab like that, no mobs are able to spawn because it's considered unstable ground! Yes, it can be annoying especially to make things look aesthetically pleasing, but sacrifices must be made!
Hey Shadow A tip to defeat mutant zombies when they fall down u might have noticed after a while they get up. To defeat them when they fall down is to burn them with a flint n steel just burn em sooo i hope this helps with ur 100 days zombie apocalypse vids 😃

Absolutely love you videos❤️ You deserve a million plus subs & far more views! Can I make a few simple suggestions? ALWAYS keep: 1. A stack of NON-flammable block on you. 2. Torches/light source 3. Wood…at least 1/2 a stack 4. Iron to replace tool & armor…at least 37(12 for tools + 25 for full replacement armor set) 5. More food than you think you need…at least a stack when possible …and of course a bucket of water, golden apples & depending on the challenge a bucket of lava. Plus an anvil to repair tools/armor(esp diamond ones)& apply enchantments. Always keeping these items on me has saved me *so many* times! Yes that’s several inventory slots filled but it’s SO worth it when you really need them. Especially once you get a backpack, shulker box, ender chest, sack, crate, etc to expand storage! Or in your case you could put such emergency supplies on Timothy!!😊❤

Great video and a lot of fun. :D The lava bucket mlg was hilarious and pretty cool. XD Two things though: Charcoal is made by putting logs in a furnace, and you put another log in the bottom to start. And slabs only work to stop mobs spawning if they're on the bottom half of the block space. Tip to figure it out: if you can place a torch or place anything else on the slab and that thing is flat to the surface rather than hovering, you're doing it wrong. Crafting table/chest/furnace/any block/etc should look like it's hovering if you place it down on bottom-half placed slabs.

To make charcoal I usually just cut down a tree and use the wood from the tree to burn the wood into charcoal. no coal needed.

Just so you know, that was a nice bucket MLG there at 26:09, but just to let you know... the damage you took was from falling, not the lava. Lava doesn't prevent fall damage unfortunately.
If it was a water bucket though, you would have taken zero damage, meaning you know how to clutch!

I just realized, instead of making an iron helmet, u could have made either an iron axe and an iron sword or an iron pickaxe and an iron sword, keep up the good work tho and a way to get back to where you were mining is put one torch at the end of the area where the mine is and so when your exploring you'll see that 1 torch and know to go that way! I was watching this whilst it was raining and it made me feel a lot better

What I love about your 100 day challenges is, rather than just simply surviving, you have some sort of goal and the videos are much more compelling for it. When using slabs, place them a block down (to where if you place a crafting table on a slab it looks like it's floating).
When you place a slab like that, no mobs are able to spawn because it's considered unstable ground! Yes, it can be annoying especially to make things look aesthetically pleasing, but sacrifices must be made!

Hey Shadow A tip to defeat mutant zombies when they fall down u might have noticed after a while they get up. To defeat them when they fall down is to burn them with a flint n steel just burn em sooo i hope this helps with ur 100 days zombie apocalypse vids 😃

Can I make a few simple suggestions?
ALWAYS keep:
1. A stack of NON-flammable block on you.
2. Torches/light source
3. Wood…at least 1/2 a stack
4. Iron to replace tool & armor…at least 37(12 for tools + 25 for full replacement armor set)
5. More food than you think you need…at least a stack when possible
…and of course a bucket of water, golden apples & depending on the challenge a bucket of lava. Plus an anvil to repair tools/armor(esp diamond ones)& apply enchantments. Always keeping these items on me has saved me *so many* times! Yes that’s several inventory slots filled but it’s SO worth it when you really need them. Especially once you get a backpack, shulker box, ender chest, sack, crate, etc to expand storage! Or in your case you could put such emergency supplies on Timothy!!😊❤

Great video and a lot of fun. :D The lava bucket mlg was hilarious and pretty cool. XD Two things though: Charcoal is made by putting logs in a furnace, and you put another log in the bottom to start. And slabs only work to stop mobs spawning if they're on the bottom half of the block space. Tip to figure it out: if you can place a torch or place anything else on the slab and that thing is flat to the surface rather than hovering, you're doing it wrong. Crafting table/chest/furnace/any block/etc should look like it's hovering if you place it down on bottom-half placed slabs.
