Okay, saying this might get my cancelled, but I am kinda sick of always playing the Allies. Yeah, yeah, evil genocidal empire that had to be stopped, I get it. But sometimes you just want to be an evil ahole in a consequence free environment. It worked for the Silent Storm games back in the olden days, and this sort of playstyle could work pretty well even now from that point of view
I was going to mention Silent Storm here too! They did it very well. I agree that more games should let you play both sides but I think it's more accepted that a larger group of people would want to play as the Allies instead. I guess it just depends on how they actually implement it in some games.
Games like this need a clear indicator of when you'll break stealth.
XCOM 2 had the eye exclamation point, they should put something similar
I agree. The red tiles are a good start but I liked how XCOM 2 did it. Just a little extra warning before you kick things off.
