- Scooter Pops takes you to McCormick Stillman Railroad Park in SCOOTS-dale, Arizona! One of the best, fun filled family parks in the entire west where you can ride a narrow gauge train with friends and family. Your kids will love "The Little Steamers" and the "Paradise and Pacific" railroads. Once you've finished a picnic lunch and treats from Hartley's General Store, it's time to ride Charro's Carousel. This merry-go-round was built in 1950 and a delight to bring back your memories and make new ones with your children! There's free admission to the park, museum, and the Scottsdale Model Railroad Club!
What a great trip! I've driven past there so many times but have never stopped. I had no idea the park was so large and had so much to do! Looks like the perfect place for a family day out. Thank you for sharing it with us!
You're very welcome! It's an amazing place, clean, filled with so many things to see and do. It's relaxing, also. Souvenirs, tickets, and snacks are inexpensive. The "Summer Concert Series" begins May 30 with some of the hottest bands around! Concerts are free, Model Railroad display is massive and free, as well as, the museum and children's play area! Picnic areas & moreI can't do justice by describing how awesome is the McCormick Stillman RR Park!
I should also mention that you can book private birthday parties aboard one of the Pullman or baggage cars! There's so much to see and do at the park you can easily spend an entire day here!
