The explanation given here about Mukti and Moksha needs some correction. Mukti is the state when the mind of the sadhaka permanently merges in Saguna Brahma and Moksha is the state when the mind permanently merges in Nirguna Brahma. In Mukti the kundalini reaches Ajina Chakra and you will have the feeling "Aham Brahmasmi". In Moksha the kundalini merges in the Sahasrara Chakra. In that state the mind merges in the Nirguna Brahma. Since in that state, the mind doesn't exist as there is no influence of any of the three gunas like Sattva, Raja and Tama, the mind doesn't exist and there is no feeling. It's an extremely blissful state . Temporarily when the merges in Saguna Brahma, the highest samadhi experienced is Srashti. The temporary state when the mind merges in Nirguna Brahma, it's called Nirvikalpa or Kaivalya. When the mind returns back to the body there will be a feeling that you had been in an inexplicably blissful state. If there is still karma phala in the mind, the mind will have to come back to exhaust those karma phala.
A detailed clarification along with information from practical demonstration on these subjects can be had from the book "Shri Shri Anandamurti - Advent of a Mystery". It is available in Amazon.
