I really love this quilt. It’s so beautiful. You did a wonderful job. I’m excited to hear you’re going to quilt con. And it’s so much closer to your home than last time. I worry about your traveling and getting sick. But I’m so glad you get to get out and go experience it. I missed thumper today because he was all snuggle bug on your quilt. I’m snuggled up with my little doggy. Y’all have a wonderful week and I look forward to the next video.
Sorry I missed the live today. There are days I'm lucky to get my legs through my undies!!! I love watching your videos and am so inspired by your ideas. :)
I get migraines through my right eye. But the pain goes like a knife through my eye, down to my neck, and into my back. Hopefully your Dr. can help with the pain.
I had a hysterectomy many, many years ago. I had the migraines before that and still now. Only 1 neurologist I've ever seen said I'm probably just pre disposed to migraines in my genetics. But it sure is a struggle to have them all the time 😔
You’re different and that’s why we love you. 💚 We are recovering from about 17” of snow last week. We finally got out today to the grocery store. We’ve had a stomach virus for 2 weeks and finally feeling better. Thankful the power stayed on so we’ve been camped in our recliners watching football. I’ve indulged in TH-cam watching quilting and true crime. 😂😂
I take Maxalt (generic) for migraines. I use to take Topamax to lessen the severity and quantity of migraines. The migraines i have are triggered by the barometric pressure.
Interesting. Mine just happen, no warning. I'm on nurtec right now. I did the Topamax thing like 15 years ago. I've tried all migraine meds then. They suck now that my eyes have them.
Hi Tiff, I get those kinds of Migraines too! My doctor call them silent migraines! Your eye doctor knows what he is talking about! I just take my maxalt (migraine meds) and it helps! I don’t know what meds you have for your migraines but the maxalt is an oral melting tablet, put it on your tongue and let it melt!!
@@TiffanysQuiltingLife I didn’t know nurtec was given for migraines! I learn something new from you all the time!! Hope the pain doctor helps with the eye migraines!!
I enjoy just sewing with you. I belong to a local guild but we unfortunately don't sew much together. I am always asked to teach a class on anything I might have a question or comment on and I'm not interested in teaching classes. I did that for 25 years and just want to sew and go to shows with friends. Maybe we'll meet at a show or class, who knows?
Talking about eye migraines, I get a thing called an optical migraine occasionally. I still can see but I have an aurora around the outside of my vision. I get those from a flash of a bright light or being in the bright sun with no eye glasses. They also happen from dehydration I believe. They only last about 20 minutes. The doctor said I would never go blind but hard to drive during one of these. I do not get regular headaches or migraines.
How about a narrow black strip on it, before the border? Unpoven idea, can't test it, need to find my sewing machine foot first. I had an idea about how to do a cattywampus border without losing a lot of fabric? I haven't tested it but I think it may work well. Cut your strip about 1/2-" too long, then put your ruler on at an angle, down the length, but 1/2" in from the top left and 1/2" in from the bottom right, make your cut at the same angle on two strips, right sides up then trom the narrow end sew them on. You may need to partial seam the last of your 4 strips from 2 pieces of fabric. If the thicker end is too long, will it trim? Or will it prove unnessecary to add the extra length? Would it be better to cut 3/4" in from opposite corners if you try it on one you won't waste much fabric if it fails, if it works you win? Have fun trying on your third scrap quilt? All the best!
This Block came together organically from scrap pieces that were donated to Tiffany - not a 'block' guide per se. I have seen it called 'In Flight' in an old magazine - but where that came from I don't know.
Hey Tiffany sorry just missed your live know how it goes when you have problems with your body and your old but with any luck I see the specialist and they can fix my problem
Love the quilt blocks. Hope you feel better.
I love scrap buster quilts❤. As long as you don’t overthink it you can have your own party. Thanks Tiff you always make me smile and laugh.
After putting sleeves in a dress and doing it wrong 3 times, I stopped and went to bed. The next day, things were back to normal. Thank God for that.
Looks great! I hope to start on my scraps next month.
Good to join today. I love scraps. Lord knows, I have enough. Oh, and red meat makes me ill. Enjoy your night. Have fun.
I hope you feel better soon!

Mine is like eyes being stabbed too. It dontbtravel to my neck, but regular migraines do.
@@TiffanysQuiltingLife Check hormone levels. Estrogen can cause migraines like this.

I hope so, I go in a bit.
I live with migraines daily. I take a few different meds but none of the new meds help.

Hi Tiffany and Scott, It is 1:40 on Monday afternoon Jan 13th here on the east coast of … Australia 🇦🇺 .. very very hot here .…

Ya mine I get light rings and photophobia with stabbing pain. It sucks 😕
@@TiffanysQuiltingLife I hope your eye issue resolves and you find relief. Stabbing pain has to be awful…..

I'm just gonna do this. Maybe the next scrap quilt can have sashing.
What kind of thread do you use on your Juki
Lately it's been Essentials from Connecting Threads. But I can use anything except small spools or Arifil. But my machine will run most threads.
Hi Tiffany, what is the name of the block you're making. I'm in Australia so our time zone is very different 😅
This Block came together organically from scrap pieces that were donated to Tiffany - not a 'block' guide per se. I have seen it called 'In Flight' in an old magazine - but where that came from I don't know.
It's just random scrap block.
Missed show tonight.

You should wear a mask if you don’t want to get sick
I've tried that route, I still get sick 😫
Ocular migraine do you get a rainbow
No just light rings and pain and sensitive to light.
