Hello Jimmy. I hope you have now recovered your hearing loss too. It was very an unexpected symptom from Covid and quite worrying. The doctors were no help, and one told me to "Go to Specsavers and get a hearing test..." One of my daughter's bought me a nebuliser, which really helped. Thankfully, I am now back to normal, but being poorly for so long has been a bit of a wake up call. More on that topic later... I am delighted you are loving my channel and I am so pleased you are here. Diane has been a huge supporter and I am very grateful to her for kindness and generosity. Best wishes.

You've definitely cost me some money by introducing me to some great art books! 😂 But you've also saved me some money, too, when I've learned that a book wasn't quite what I was looking for. I've been painting for only 3 years and I've managed to accumulate a surprising number of watercolor books in that time. I think that collecting and reading art books is a delightful hobby unto itself! Thanks as always for the valuable service you provide.
You are very welcome Julie... In 1989, a significant date for me, I had about 3 or 4 art and craft books. I have lost count of how many I have now, but it's several 100's. I moved house a few years ago and relayed this fact to my son-in-law, who was carrying yet another heavy box of books... "Oh happy days...", he replied. 🤣 I am very much looking forward to my retirement so I can finally read them all properly and use them to improve my own efforts and skill. My books are like treaure to me. Whenever I feel down, if I just pick up a book, I immediately feel uplifted and inspired afterwards. You can never have too many books! 📚
