- A young boy and his siblings in Gaza visited the graves of their parents on Wednesday, the first day of Eid al-Fitr, after their parents were killed by Israeli air strikes.
The young boy was comforted by the journalist who interviewed him, urging him to stay strong and carry the responsibility of taking care of his siblings.

A young boy should not have to be a man before his childhood has ended. This boy's tears show he is more of a human than the so called people who are responsible for the killing of his parents. God bless these children.

I'm Iraqi, who fled as a child with her family because of the war and injustice that happened to us. None of the warmongers has ever been held accountable for the warcrimes committed. Our Martyrs and the misery of living in a war-torn country that is still being exploited by those in power is forgotten by the world.
So to me the liberation of the Palestinians is very personal and I pray to see true justice served for Palestine. They are humans like you and me so why should they die or live in a refugee camp while their oppressors live ON THEIR LAND?? Why does this boy with his little brother have less rights for safety and freedom than Israelis?

How sad! Three little kids whose lives changed forever! I cant imagine the helplessness and loneliness these orphans might be feeling now.Especially the eldest boy who should be playing and enjoying his carefree life but now has all the responsibilities of an adult. What has these children done to deserve this? May god take revenge for these helpless kids upon the ones responsible for this .
Also the reporter likely faced something similar, as a very large portion of adults in not only Gaza but also Palestine suffer from this throughout the decades. The population of Gaza was 50% children before this specific genocide because Israel keeps killing the adults.

The reporter knows what's round the corner. This boy will need to keep it together to give his siblings and himself a chance. It's all well and good saying he is a child and he should mourn. That won't help in the short term. We all know not having closure will have a huge impact on him in the future. But he needs to make sure he has a future and his siblings too.
These poor babies don't have the luxury of mourning. How can you mourn when death is all around you and you might well be next.

Grief is a valid emotion to feel. It's not wrong for kids to grieve over the loss of their parents. How brutal and shattering is what happened to this family? He has a right to cry.

But then i realise, the man was being compassionate, but at the same time he is encouraging the boy to be a man. Despite his young age, Allah SWT has given him the responsibility and he must shoulder them. He has to be strong, he has to care for his brothers. If he’s not strong, his brothers will suffer. And surely the boy wouldnt want that.

The emotional trauma of losing both parents, having to then parent your siblings when you look no more than 10 years old.. He will and do an amazing job. This is so hard to watch for I am very close to both parents. Blessed to have the both still atvmy age and will be destroyed when the day comes that the lord calls for their return to the Heavens. This child is almost at the edge of losing his will to live, he has probably been crying on that grave for days, the man telling him to be strong knows the sadness of the boy, much better than you making comments on the Internet. The boy has no choice but to grow up fast. He doesn't live in your comfortable neighbourhood where he can be pampered all day, and told everything is going to be okay. This man is taking these children away from their parents grave to feed them and take their mind off their sorrows. Bless him for that. Because it not easy to live that life.
