What currently makes Haaland better for me than most strikers and players is the fact that, despite his great self-confidence and ego, he manages not to bury his teammates like a Ronaldo and Mbappe often times did.
He runs the extra meter, passes the ball when someone else got a better position, kicks someone over when he puts his hands on a teammate and he thanks others for his archivments. He knows that he is playing in a team.

Erling Haaland has the Kobe mindset, in that he only focuses on the shots (goals) he's made not the ones he's missed. Whenever he misses, he's only focused on making sure the next one goes in. Incredibly strong rebound mentality, which is easier said than done.

People can say that Erling Haaland scores tap ins but a goal is a goal. He positions himself so well and to do that at the highest level at the age of 22 and to do it with consistency it's mindblowing. Premier league an impossible league, he's having the best individual season that I've ever seen from a premier league player in his debut season. He just elevated his game and with the goals he's scoring, he's making it look easy. Erling Haaland is simply built different and he's scoring at a better rate in England than Germany.

@@kingfreddy5268 At this rate with the goals he's scoring and if Manchester City keep dominating the league, the premier league will turn into a farmers' league. It isn't now but many can argue that if City win the prem again, the premier league has become a farmers' league. Some of those titles have come down to the last day, but at the end of the day, Manchester City finished the season in 1st place. Many of us have respect for the premier league but is it any surprise that the same team is lifting the trophy after 38 games. If Erling Haaland stays in the premier league for a decade, and Man City continue showing no signs of slowing down domestically, the premier league will slowly turn into a farmer's league especially with the way that he himself is scoring all these goals. I don't think the premier league's a farmers' league but it has the potential to turn into one very soon.

I hear people saying that a player "Only scores tap ins" like it's not a great quality to have since the Messi x Ronaldo era.
If tap ins were easy, you'd see dozens of players scoring 20+ figures in each and every league and games would end up having ten or more goals on average.
The thing is: to score tap ins in a regular basis a player must have a incredible positional awareness. Knowing how and where to move to get yourself rid of the defenders is one of the most underrated skills in football

I would say his overal runs are better than Ronaldo because even though he's fast, he's not as nimble as Ronaldo from stationary positions. Ronaldo usually had the luxury of awaiting until the last possible moment to dash in, creating a big problem for defenders by his agility alone
Wheras Haaland kinda mixes the defence apart. Ronaldo didn't have pure shooter style of finishing either, he had very reliable precision with his upper-inside part of the boot
But you wouldn't see him being overly creative with his shooting agility except for bicycle kicks because most of the time, he was quicker than anyone you'd imagine and just didn't need that much of weird shooting attempts
