This part made me remember that our ghosts have been around since the traveler sacrificed itself. So every ghost in existence has seen some dark shit over the years that was before our time.

I personally take the "young ghost" line as Imaru bullied other ghosts back during the dark ages, when they all were younger.
Now, would I actually cry like a baby if they ever were to show us a "newborn" Ghost, or a glimpse of our Ghost when he was new? Absolutely. One can dream.

I love seeing all of the more chill characters like Ghost and Variks show more emotion by letting out their frustration and anger as the villains are saying insane things that they know not to be true. Variks criticizing Eramis for even suggesting to kill all the Eliksni who refuse to join her, and Ghost scolding Savathûn who, even after all she has done, tells him he should've betrayed the very people he loved. This game is b-e-a-UTIFUL!
But I'm pretty sure savathun was being at least somewhat truthful. She may be a god of cunning, but not necessarily one of lies...
I definitely got the same vibes from Variks’ going off on Eramis as this clip as well, I’m glad I’m not the only one. Hearing Variks raise his voice listening to Eramis’ effectively propaganda and lying by finally lashing out while saying “ERAMIS! YOU ARE THE TRUE TRAITOR!” Was so vindicating to hear. Man always seemed like he had something to say, and god damn did he say it.

Ghost going Uh Huh, to Mara was the first time i ever actually liked our ghost compared to litterally any other ghost so far in the game.
Him being dismissive and somewhat sarcastic to her made me feel better about him, especially since we don’t usually recognize many emotions from him
i seriously had to stop the doing the mission because i was laughing so hard. It was the perfect amount of "yea sure eff off".

Savathun was telling the truth partially.
The Traveler gave Savathun the light so she and the lucent brood can help fight The Witness and The Darkness when they arrive on earth.
Savathun unfortunately chose to fight us who also serve The Traveler so her death is her own fault.
Maybe she’ll have second thoughts next time she’s resurrected (if at all)

I mean, but did she choose to fight us though? We kind of did just slaughter some of Caitl's Cabal to go into her Hive Ship uninvited and start killing her Brood. She even threw us out and we went back in, willingly.

Savathun has contingincies for contingincies. Is defeating her was within her plans. I'm betting that in time (maybe a future season) we will locate Immaru and bring him to savathun to resurrect her as we will need her help. No doubt by this time we will have a prison capable of holding her, as i'm guessing Eris will make the prison immune to hive magic, Caiatl will provide the technology to restrain Immaru so he can't escape again, Mythrax may be instrumental in improving Cabal technology, and Mara and her Techeuns will likely be in charge of the interrogation.

I think that isba fantastic idea. I mean, we guardians solve most of our problems with our arsenal so it isn't like Ghost's emotional outbursts will start an avoidable fight.
People talk about hating Ghost but I've always loved him. Sometimes he can be a little whiney yeah but considering everything he's seen, he's entitled to that. During this expansion, oh damn was I cheering him on every time he went off about Sav or the Hive Ghosts. I love Osiris and Sagira so Savathun had a huge fucking target on her forehead from me. I lost my shit when Ghost popped off in that final mission. Good for him. Good for him.

I think the only character I genuinely hate is Lakshmi (for obvious reasons) but I was genuinely surprised when ghost was pretty much encouraging us to kill hive ghost

Taeko-3 being forgotten during his rant is gonna bother me forever. Anyone playing D2 Y1 remembers her sacrifice during Savathun’s song… many times…
That fireteams deaths are sad but i always wondered why Taeko couldn't just wait abit since we were pretty much just behind the corner
If memory serves me right I believe the crystals had a double edged sword effect that ghost was able to figure out. They had no other means to make any crystals so Taeko-3 sacrifice is what help made that mission possible without it we would not been able to defeat Savathun Song. I could be wrong though but I believe that's what it was that made it possible to complete that mission
That should have been a bonus line if you're a veteran Destiny 2 player.

@@RocketPower95 you are correct. We needed to destroy the crystals to get void charges that could bring the shriekers shield down. Taeko became the crystal so we could use her light to bring down the shriekers shield

We got some great characters that has gotten mad so far in the last 3 dlcs
Shadowkeep: Eris getting pissed at the angry revenants of her fallen fireteam.
Beyond Light: Variks yelling Eramis for calling him a coward and dropping the accent as well.
Witch Queen: Ghost getting mad at Savathun
At this point Ghost is the protagonist and were just carrying him around, killing, looting, meming and all that.
I’m surprised not many people were talking about this voice line, this is probably my favorite thing that Ghost has said in a very long ass time.
Ghost was so good in this expansion and Nolan did an excellent job with the lines.

This was wonderful because I was thinking the same thing never forget the great disaster, oryx and the taken campaign,Taeko-3 fireteam,uldern corruption an killing of innocent awoken civilians added with cayde death, the dreaming city curse for a murdered battery and fianle this trying to leave us to die to the witness after getting her memories back.
I was so proud of my ghost 😭 when he said "how STUPID do you think i am" i was like dammn go getem my little light say all the things i wish my character could say but cant because our mouths are surgically sealed until cutscenes

Apparently our Ghost subscribed to the Sword Logic, because he's certainly claimed Savathun's sass after ABSOLUTELY MURDERING her there.
I was genuinely surprised hearing Ghost actually getting angry. I'm so used to being annoyed by him.

Cayde died as a consequence of Savathun's pet Ahamkara screwing with Uldren.

I legitimately got confused here, because my brain is rotted and I forgot that we aren't "Canonically" hunting down gods to turn into guns.
I would have liked the guardian to say something like this. Just a slow walk across the bridge, coolly listing off names of those killed by the hive/the atrocities committed by them. End it with an O' statement.
i can attest that my in-lore accurate guardian would have followed that with a "yeah! what he said"

Unforgivable to the player and to Guardians. But I'd wager that her manipulation of events that resulted in the Razing of the Reef by Uldren and his Barons were actually the most unforgivable. Not only did it destroy a lot of places of a currently struggling race (remember Mara's giant fake suicide thing) but also kill men, women, and possibly awoken children too.
except she didn't, Riven did, Savathun could care less about Cayde living or dying, that was entirely a Riven manipulated Uldren, so that Riven could be free, all Savathun cared about was for Riven to grant her The Last Wish, wholely unrelated to Riven being freed.
Could you imagine if Peter Dinklage was still doing the voice for the ghost? This line would not have anywhere near the same effect....

I'm Italian, so I play the game obviously in Italian and both the voice actors did an incredibly and amazing job, give an Italian one a try, I guess it's the similar too the original one so far
It'd be cool if there was an effect given to you by Ghost because of how pissed off he is. Like your light is supercharged or your abilities charge way faster. Obviously only in the campaign but again, it would be cool to see.

Funniest part is shortly later he asks us to show Savathun a memory in an attempt to prevent her from doing evil which ultimately is just your little Ghost offering her help.
