Why does the "show clock" return Tue in the instructions, but it returns Wed in your case?

It is depends on the clock you set. And if not set it may depends on the time zone!

@@TechAcad TY! Jan 31 2035 is obviously Wed. I wonder: was there a mistake in the instructions, or was there really such a bug in PT 6.1? I was unable to get UTC Tue Jan 31 2035.
But I managed to get UTC Tue Jan 30 2035 (before that I entered S1(config)#cl t UTC -23 59) :D

S1>enable is the command to move to privileged Exec mode. and instead "enable", use short form "en" also help you.

No, Switch is the default hostname and you can change it according to your requirements.

When you go to switch, this is the first IOS mode. It's user exec mode (Switch>)
