Phew! I’ve been wondering where and how you are. I’m so glad you’re safe and back in your studio, but please do take whatever time you need to fully recover. Be well. All of you.
Hang in there lovely xxxx you are climbing up the ladder one rung at the time and cheering you on from here in Australia xxxx ps my 90 year old mum just had Covid and rapidly followed by influenza A , the day after she was discharged from hospital!! So watch that Covid, it’s over here too xxx biggest virtual hugs from another potter on the other side of the world xxxxx❤
So sorry to hear about the COVID thing, but so glad you got to visit your family and beloved Alaska! We are here for whatever you send us! That owl is stunning!❤️❤️❤️
OMG! I was thinking something must be wrong. I'm so glad you're (kinda) on the mend. Take care. This piece is lovely. Get well. Don't worry about us - we'll still be here when you're back on your feet and fighting fit.
Good to see you! Love, love, love the leaf bowl! Sorry to hear you have covid. I feel your pain....had it myself about a month ago. Still don't have all my energy back, but then again that could just be me aging. LOL! Hang in there and take care of yourself. Thanks a bunch for sharing this cool project! Good luck at the art festival!
So glad you are okay! Was beginning to really worry about you! Sorry about your bout with Covid. Yes. It’s rearing its ugly head again!!Missed you the last couple of weeks. I enjoy your posts so much!! Wonderful to see you again!!💕
You can also go to the paint your own pottery shops and buy their bisque to use as humps and slumps! I have used several of them for this. They usually charge half the price of the piece since you aren’t glazing and firing it! Of course going to thrift stores and looking for glassware that I can slump things over is my absolute favorite thing to do!! Love how the bowl turned out!! What a great idea for the handle too!! I’m sooo glad you’re able to do clay again!! I looked on the site you linked and I couldn’t find anything like this.
Hi! I just discovered your page, and I'm loving it! Your videos provide all kinds of great tips and tricks to working with clay. You're a fantastic teacher. I can empathize about your arm! I have been in OT for weeks now trying to fix a tendon issue...now doing "dry needling" and seeing some good results. Hahahaha, sage, Yeah! When in doubt - - smoke those buggers out. AND SICK HUSBANDS - - ugh, the worst! I predict that 2025 is gonna be an OUTSTANDING year, so keep the faith, baby. ❣❣❣
So happy you’re back Tiffany! And you recovered again and again and again. You are the Energizer Bunny for recovering. I really love the maple leaf mold. It will be a great seller especially with your glaze combinations.
It’s good to see you. The leaf is beautiful. I also do the slip pouring with the molds. I’m going to try what you showed us. Good luck with your show this weekend.
That leaf dish is really pretty. I just fired my small leaf spoon rest plates and now I’m eagerly awaiting the kiln opening so I can see the results. Good luck at the art festival. Since I’m in CA I won’t be there.
Oh you poor thing. My husband and I have never had covid. Strange how it hits some people and some it misses completely. All my family and friends except my elderly 88, and 90 year old parents have had it at least once , most have had it two or three times. It’s an Awful thing . Your videos are sooo good, I’ve just jumped back into pottery, ( did it for a while over 30 years ago) now I’ve bought a wheel, and a skutt 818-3 kiln which is being wired in this week. Happy making a lot of stuff.
Glad you are back with us. I have tried to get hold of the Mould but have been told it is no longer available as the company gone out of business, very sad. Stay well
Covid 2nd time for me was far worse than the first time, so glad to see you back on your feet, using the arm alot better, I know clay makes you happy, but you fighting fit is what make all of out ehere happy to, get this weekend out the way and you can progress with appropriate speed, seeing family must have been good for you, shopping in craft and pottery must have been fun, I always try to find a local pottery when ever I go on holiday, off to Scotland at the end of October, hoping to see otters, white tailed see eagle and a golden eagle too. Back to this mould it's a stunning piece, what you glazed previously is beautiful 🎉😊
You’re amazing, I know you probably don’t feel like it but you look like you have bounced back really well, even at 50%! Happy to hear you caught up with family. Everyone hates unsolicited medical but I’m a fool so I’m going to dive right in where angels fear to tread! I’ve been taking all sorts of mushroom supplements, lions main, turkey tail ( this is great for the immune system ) Cordyceps (another great one) made huge differences for me. Love little trinket l leaf dishes by the way, looks fantastic. Wishing you well on your health journey 💕
Sorry to hear that you got Covid. I am glad that you are better. Glad you got to spend time with your family. And that you get to get back on the wheel in October. I love this video. Take care. Laura Melkis.
I totally love your videos. I definitely want to find one of those molds. I have a craft market Oct 5th & 6th and would give anything to get a few of these made for the Harvest Market. I also am glad you are on the mend. Hope to do well at your Market this weekend! #KAJ POTTERY #MERIDIAN ID
So glad you’re feeling better! I had it a few months ago. Also love your creativity! Can you explain how you glazed the leaf? I’m trying to capture that color on a project.
I just had covid,1st time and I didn't like it. So glad you are better but with all that you have gone through in the last few years, please take better care. I had several surgeries in a year and lost most of my hair and went through several changes. Dr's finally said it was due to annatheisia. It did all grow back but I feel for you. Please please go slow, get more rest and down those vitamins. Lots of ❤and 🙏. Loved the dish, so miss pottery. Good luck at show. 😊
I would have been so grateful to have had you as my instructor. My instructor would never allow the class to sell our work openly, well, not without her knowledge and a whole lot of big old headaches! As a result I really have no idea how to sell or market my work. I’ve just opened my own studio and this is my biggest challenge. Any advice? I’ve looked at people’s work at shows as a first step. Also…can you tell us about that mug that is on the table behind you?? It’s I st gorgeous!!!
Thank you for all the guidance and information, I really appreciate it! I hope you recover from COVID quickly. Now for the slump mold, does it release easily once it dries?
I think sage is the answer 😊 I love the leaf 🍁 I’ve just peeped into my kiln and my love heart dishes are brown and should be red 🤣 I’m waiting to get new elements and think that’s the problem, I wish I had a kiln guru 😕
