My fav calligraphy set must be the Winsor and Newton dip pen calligraphy set it comes with 8 inks 5 nibs and a red nib holder. When I got mine I had to take the cardboard off the ink to close the box properly
i’ve personally only used one davinci brush, but i think they’re both good brushes and just have different strengths. I like my davinci brush for watercolor painting mostly because it’s softer and has better water retention. I really like the windsor newton with ink because the tips stay pretty firm and are easier to work with a medium like ink. i think it’s all about your preference though, not worse or better.
that happens to me when the ink has dried between the cap and the sides of the bottle opening. maybe try rubbing alcohol on a cheap brush to try and loosen it up!
