I still cannot bring myself to watch the new episodes of Chicago Fire after Chief Hawkins sudden death. I was so over the moon with these 2 at the start of season 11 & when Hawkins was killed, I'll admit, I cried for almost 2 days straight!! The writers of Chicago Fire love tormenting people when it comes to love with these characters!!
I totally relate. I couldn’t stop crying after Seattle Fire Chief Lucas Ripley died on Station 19. I couldn’t watch the show after that, I didn’t want the producers to think it was okay what happened. Chief Hawkins death was more tragic than Ripley’s but because I stopped taping Fire before he and Violet became a thing I wasn’t invested as much then saw the recovery effort pop up with the script on IG. So i already knew he’d been killed but did know how. When the collapse happened I gasped 😩. There is no shame this hands down the best couple and romance they ever had in this shows decade on the air. I can’t stop hearing the Backdraft score when papa McCaffrey dies 💔😢 when I see Evan dying in front of Violet
I started watching this series because of a video of them on youtube. They were such a hot and adorable couple . I can't get over an ending for them so sad.😭😭(I hope to see this actor in other series or movies, he really is an incredible actor and makes my eyes happy😣).
Agree. Started watching fire again after I stopped just before he and Violet started becoming a thing because his first eps were very focused on Brett’s project. They had insane chemistry, beautiful couple. Yes I want see Jimmy Nicholas again, he is smokin hot and gorgeous whether he’s being tender 🥹 funny 🥰 sexy and passionate ❤️🔥 or angry and frowning 🔥🔥🤌🏻
This was the best new couple we've had in a while, why would they kill him off!? OMG, THEY WERE PERFECT! Definitely one of the sadder Chicago Fire deaths and I really hope they don't pair her with anyone else, I can't cope with it :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

My favorite couple on the show. I knew someone was going to die on that episode, but I thought it was going to be Carver or Gallo, so when Evan died I was so shocked and just started crying. Kind of like I did watching this 😭😭

I'm on season 10 and I seriously don't know how I feel about hawkins yet. I'm starting to notice that I'm seeing him more than the chief hatcher. I like that hawkins is hands on but damn it just feels weird to me. Like why couldn't we see chief hatcher more then?
