Prefab structures brought to a well planed job could save so much time, pain and $$$.

@@HouseofDesignRobotics Can you release a homebuyer's app that let's homebuyers choose a blueprint that's been pre-approved in their City/County/State. The blueprint has the entire prebuilt panel list that gets shipped to the build site in shipping containers or on flatbeds by stage. Like container 1- Basement. Container 2- First floor. Container 3- Second floor and electrical. Container 3- Roof and interior paint. Container 4- appliances. That's just an example but the home builder app would keep them up to date on the project and would tell their contractor how to assemble the parts. You could partner with recommended contractors for stage 1, stage 2, electrical, etc. The mortgage holder would be happy to see exact updates for dispersing the loan. Hopefully there would be 1000's of blueprints eventually and you could tell buyers how many other folks built that model within 1 miles of the building site if that's something they want to avoid.

It's interesting to see humans have to do the step of tightening the joints. It's also interesting that the robots will blindly use boards with huge knots in them. The build table should also allow load testing so the individual trusses can be certified compliant with the load rating.

The boards are checked and inspected before they are placed in the system.

@@HouseofDesignRobotics I know it's hard to get good, consistent wood these days. Can you comment on the piece of wood used at time 1:07?

Hello Levi, we would have to get you in touch with our sales team for this information. Are you just curious or inquiring for a potential factory?

Keep the Alpine saw, two man crews after that, seem faster than this thing and it needs a human to step in regardless. I don't see the upfront benefit of the cost plus maintenance of a machine like this.

wood is difficult item to fully automate. It's never exact in length or totally straight....
you'd need systems to measure each beam in all dimensions and then make a plan on how to lay them out for full automation.
