Mayday Parade is one of many good examples on how a band can evolve and change their sound and still keep the core sound/style/artistry that they're known for. They're also humble people who never get fame thru their heads
I saw them for the tenth anniversary of "A Lesson In Romantics" and it was amazing. They played the whole album front to back and the whole crowd was screaming every single song. You could totally tell how much that album meant to everyone in that venue. Even the opening bands talked about being inspired by Mayday. True artists.

I've wished for some time that these shows that have live music would hire sound engineers with experience in producing live music for video. The standard "just put everything through like it is" doesn't work with a band like this. There's too much going on to not have someone adjusting their levels to match the change in need for each instrument.
