Thank you for enduring the cold to show us your great jacket! Loved the personal touches you added to it.
Now, GET INSIDE the cabin (with the mice) and keep warm!!!! You're making me cold watching you standing out there!

Been looking at these i want the loden 100 percent wool model and the canvas anorak cover that blocks the wind so you can use it snowmobiling and have no worries with wind cutting threw the wool . Definitely quality old school item .

Old school yes but but you absolutely need an over layer or a very good base layer.
Not made for cold weather like they are advertised own there one

Maybe a windbreaker or rubberized pauncho would work. But $400/$600.... I don't think so.

      The Dude has no idea...
You can buy a cheaper version, but $335 for this piece of equipment is worth it if you can afford it...absolutely no question. If you're an avid outdoors person during the winter months and you're likely to get wet or be around open flames, then there's no replacement for a 3/4 length heavy wool anorak.
Can you imagine wearing rubberized anything during the winter while outdoors, without creature comforts, and with no guarantee of a heat source or fire?
