Super 12 2004: Blues v Stormers Highlights

Going through some old VHS tapes I found this highlights package for the Super 12 game played between the Blues and Stormers at Eden Park in Auckland in 2004.
In one of the Stormer's finest victories, they ran in eight tries to comprehensively defeat the Blues 51-23 after leading led 36-11 at half-time. This game introduced the rugby world to the talents of Tonderai Chavhanga, whose pace helped him to bag two tries.

This game proved that having a 'high risk' game plan can have its drawbacks. Loved the way the Blues played - especially Carlos Spencer playing but bringing the Full Back up into the line to make an extra attacker and Carlos himself regularly out of position out on the wing as well as him making 50-50 passes was always going to end in tears.

Remember telling my mom, "I feel like i have flu" in order to stay home on that Friday morning. 😂. She reminded me im sick, every time i screamed like a crazy boy after we scored 😂😂. Of course i wasn't sick. 😂
