This happened to me my first time fighting rotgut and I still don't know how. My only movement was 2.00 speed and it sorta just happened on like azazel or whatever
Was your character small? The most common way to clip out of a crawlspace is by going through the cracks, this can happen if your hitbox is small enough to pass through the small gap between both of the walls, also keep in mind that your character's hitbox is not affected by size up pills and it would only take to get pluto or 3-4 size down pills
