WW3 & IRAN. What TRIGGERS World War III? One amazing element is forming before our eyes. The study and teaching of prophecy aren’t supposed to be an intellectual pursuit of its own. The point isn’t to memorize all the seals and bowls and trumpets in the book of Revelation….or set dates and times regarding the Rapture…. or get into pointless and contentious arguments over the timing and sequence of End Times events.
Rather, God gave us prophecy to motivate and mobilize the Church to live lives of holiness….and preach the Gospel to all nations before He comes…and make disciples of all nations before He returns. The PROPHETIC center of the Universe is in the Middle East! Were Iran's drones used to attack the LARGEST oil production site in the world in Saudi Arabia? Is that important to prophetic world events? Without question, prophecy is central to the Holy Scriptures. Yet very few pastors, priests or ministry leaders are teaching Bible prophecy today.
First, to reveal that the God of Israel is the all-mighty, all-seeing, all-knowing God of the universe. The Lord said through the Hebrew prophet Isaiah, ”Behold, the former things have come to pass, now I declare new things; before they spring forth I proclaim them to you.” (Isaiah 42:9) The Lord also said through the prophet Isaiah, “Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the first and I am the last, And there is no God besides Me. ‘Who is like Me? Let him proclaim and declare it; Yes, let him recount it to Me in order, from the time that I established the ancient nation. And let them declare to them the things that are coming And the events that are going to take place.” (Isaiah 44:6-7)
The Lord also said through the prophet Isaiah, “Remember the former things long past, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things which have not been done, saying, ‘My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure.’” (Isaiah 46:9-10)
The Apostle Peter wrote, “But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.” (2 Peter 1:20-21)
The Lord Jesus Christ said, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” (Revelation 22:13)
Second, to reveal that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and true in all its respects.
There are about 1,000 specific prophecies in the Bible.
More than half of them have already been fulfilled.
Most of the remaining prophecies concern events that will happen between now and the Second Coming of Christ.
In the Old Testament, for example, we see hundreds of prophecies fulfilled. For example, around 530 B.C., the Lord told the prophet, Daniel, that:
the kingdom of Babylon would be taken over the kingdom of Media-Persia; the Media-Persian kingdom would be taken over the kingdom of Greece; the kingdom of Greece would be taken over by the kingdom of Rome; and eventually, all the kingdoms of the earth would be taken over by the Kingdom of God
This is exactly what has happened, and WILL HAPPEN.
Ultimately, all of prophecy is about Jesus Christ….it comes from Him….it points to Him.
Bible prophecy speaks to the general future of “all nations” in the last days leading up to the Second Coming of Christ.
Bible prophecy speaks to the specific future of specific nations and regions in the last days leading up to the Second Coming of Christ.
Included: Israel, Russia, Iran, Syria (Damascus), Egypt, Libya, Sudan, Lebanon, Jordan, Greece, a European (revived Roman) empire, etc
Also included: the “king of the South” (Daniel 11:5); the “king of the North” (Daniel 11:6); the “kings from the east” (Revelation 16:12); not included: the United States of America (not even a king or queen of the west). Keep looking up as we approach the very end of this age. We are clearly in the last days.

As a young girl in the 60's, my family were definitely not christian. I was not exposed. A very violent childhood. Much anger. As an adult, drugs and alcohol, rock and roll. Sex. Adultery, fornication. I did it all. But God set me free. My man died several years ago. My son, suicide. Just me now! But I have peace. Yes, I am forgiven and saved at 60 years old.

Great perspective on Israel and God's protection of them for His sake. I've had my feelings hurt by Jewish people who I only want to love and witness to. And this helps so much. The best timeline of Bible prophecy I have seen. Answers a few questions I had. Thank you for taking the time to share the details.
A very scary thing was said by a Jewish member of the sanhedrin. I was watching a documentary on Israel's view on Christ. This Jewish man said "Even if Jesus is the messiah, even if he comes down from heaven itself. We will still not believe in him." Paraphrased. That's intense.
But it’s true. Only a remnant of the Jews will be saved. If you look throughout history at the treatment of the Jews you’ll find that there was always a remnant saved from whatever mass death befell them. The last was WWII of course. Of the number of Jews left, that number was the remnant. It’s been awhile since I’ve looked, but I do think it’s one third. Don’t take that as fact. Please look into those numbers yourself. But there were millions more Jews killed throughout the world besides the six million the Nazis murdered in their attempt at the genocide of the European Jews, which of course they did on an industrial scale, the only time in history that has occurred. Throughout the Bible there’s always been that surviving remnant, a third, and that’s how it will end as well. When God says that all Israel will be saved it’s the one-third, the remnant that recognizes Christ as the Messiah. They will see that Jesus was indeed the true Messiah, see His pierced palms and feet, His stripes. They will know Who He is and beg for forgiveness, they’ll fall down worshipping. But not all will. The others will perish for believing in the Antichrist during Tribulation. The remnant will hide and it’s believed that they will take refuge within Petra as they did during the biblical days. Petra sustained masses of people. They grew food, had water and irrigation systems, they had protection. I can’t wrap my small brain around how that will be but God says it will happen, so I have no doubt. His Word is so powerful, so amazing. Dr. Barnett is such a scholarly man. I love history and excelled in it decades ago but that was nothing compared to the knowledge this man possesses. I love listening to him and could listen for days. I wish there were more videos of him going into biblical history and the geopolitics during that time. Fascinating! Sorry, my apologies for running on. I get excited!

I've very quickly become a huge fan/follower of Dr. John Barnett. I really love his extensive, detailed, style of the bible and history. No matter how long, I watch EVERY tutorial on my smartphone. In bed, during a.m. coffee, sometimes from a hot soak in the tub, or during regular tv watching time. He's way more soul-nutritious than television. Garbage-in/garbage-out, right? Why do you think so in verses? I'm not sure if the battles and rapture timing can be ordered with certainty.

Please pray for my sister. A shady landlord agency bought the mobile home Park she lives in and she was already struggling. They’re raising lot rent. They’re saying they’re going to come around and evict for having a mobile home older than 10 years. My sister’s mobile home is around or over 40. She takes care of her disabled children and gets no help from their father.

Christ own sacrifice put an end to Jewish sacrificial system... no longer needed... then in 70ad physical destruction by titus sealed it... why we want force the text to say what it does not say... this burden of proof rest on 7 yrs gap theory between 69 and 70th week... but historical Christ died after 69th week... I.e 70 th week... 490 yrs prophecy was fulfilled...
