If you’re interested in deck boats, the Bayliner DX2250 is the most high end Bayliner I’ve ever seen! It’s got almost everything a Sea Ray does, definitely worth a test!
nonsense placing for the fire extinguisher; the potential fire would be out from the engine and how are you going to reach the fire extinguisher when the area is on fire ? it is right next to the engine.
@@j.walker3498 better than what? Obviously, a smaller engine will burn less fuel than a larger engine, but that has nothing to do with efficiency of the hull. If you are saying that a smaller engine will somehow miraculously make the hull more efficient through the water, then you need to lay off the drugs.
Why would diesel outboards be more efficient than diesel inboards? Yes, you would get a bit more room in the engine space, but you'd also shift the weight backwards.
@@darthkek1953 In addition to easier maintenance, having the engines outside of a traditional "engine room" allows for way more interior space either in the cabins or lazarat or both and will allow you to eliminate underwater running gear. It's really nice to just beach a 50' boat instead of having to anchor off and swim into the beach. The further you can get the props back behind the boat the more efficient it will be. Regulator did a nice job explaining this concept in this video: th-cam.com/video/tz0ZcrbB6WE/w-d-xo.html
Certainly the best boat tests on TH-cam. Congrats.
Thank you for watching!

You the Man Captain Steve,,,,Leopard boats are sick....and so is your first mate! Later my man.

Interestingly, the fuel burn for this model is better than for the Leopard 40 with the same Yanmar 370hp engines!
Great engine room. Such a clean setup!
How about the living quarters?
what's the fuel consumption and range with other engines?
0:19- tell me that is not a sexy boat. Too many people complaining about the aesthetics of cats
Will you be doing a boat test of the new sea doo switch?
We had a little go on it during the Miami big show it’s a fun. We will try do something proper at the next big boat show. :)
Why this 46 PC have much bigger consumption them her big brother 53PC ? Having the same engines..much more efficient hull?
South Africa made... right???
You .ok like you were in St.Petersburg. That or Daytona. That marine looks familiar.
would like to see you test the Longreach 44
Because they don't exist
DELAMINATION AND RACKING ISSUE RESOLVED?
Capt Steve what cat in 50-65ft has the longest range?
two oceans 555
6:17- assuming the KG is off here
Yup, I was confused by that first kg number too. It should be 16,758 KG
You should introduce the lovely lady next to you
Lekker man lekker 🇿🇦
Capt. Steve would you teach the British how to review a boat😂

No windshield wipers !? Huh !? wtf !?
Wow
👍👍👍
I was expecting a better fuel economy from this boat.
one of the smaller engine options probably better.

@@charlieodom9107 Economy and efficiency are different words. Pick up a book.
At sailboat speeds, it'll do nearly 1000 miles. That's pretty respectable considering it only holds 489 gals of fuel.
@@TexanUSMC8089 right, but if I spent that much I would at least want to be able to cross the Atlantic. But I'd imagine it's a great Bahama boat.
Diesel outboards (OXE) would make this boat way better. Less maintenance and more interior room while providing better performance and fuel economy.

@@charlieodom9107 Just a strange thing to say, and (being in the EU) I'm a fan of diesel outboards... on the right boat.
