Building my Springtrap Cosplay

- After a long two months I’ve finally finished this project! My interpretation of a realistic version of Springtrap from FNaF 3! I wanted to really capture the original creepiness of the character with this suit and I’m happy with the final results, hopefully this helps anyone who would like to build their own!
Special thanks to Coscom Cosplay Supply to sponsoring all the EVA foam and Thibra on this build, it would not have been finished so fast and been so sturdy without their material!
Check them out here:

Here is the pattern, it takes some messing with to get right, I refrained on releasing it for awhile so I could try to perfect it, but I figured I could just drop it now instead of waiting another few months to revisit it!

@@YourLocalEldritchHorror thank you for making me laugh oml
And the award for most realistic, detailed, and stunning cosplays goes to:

It's william afton 2.0
even i thought andimatronics was amazing
Yes
Oscar for them.
The first time i saw a clip of his costume i thought it was cgi
if a FnAF movie is EVER made and they build the animatronics instead of cgi and you are not the designer or director of the costumes, nah. This is the most realistic cosplay design I’ve ever seen you need an award, it’s a masterpiece
Edit: yes i know the movie is out and there have been updates,i made this comment over a year ago
Thats what I'm saying. Stop the stupid CGI. Its dumb. Hire this person to make the suits for the actors. Boom. Re usable and more impressive than visual effects.
I don't know why, I remembered when that rumor about the FNaF movie came out and everyone was VERY excited only to realize that it was all a lie, including me LOL
@@sweetsoursauce9110 yup from 2015
FnAF
@@foolishdonut yeah it’s more impressive
Another way to do this cosplay is to create robots with a friend, start a franchise, murder children and stuff them into the robot suits, then after a while dismantle them, so when their souls come after you, jump into a springbonnie suit you created, springlock yourself and wait 30 years.
On second thought, this tutorial seems much easier, less expensive and waaay less painful
I laugh more then I should at this 🤣

Thank you! For another turtorial.
Nice ima do that... WAIT A SECOND 😂
Ok
That dead purple guy looks so realistic.
Also the best ST cosplay I've ever seen
You should see his springtrap version 2. Its even better somehow
agreed.
William Afton didn't die.. (he's been burnt several times but still survived)
Having purple guys skull inside the mouth is such a nice touch.
This is so impressive. I am in awe. I hope Scott sees this, if anyone ever does any live fnaf events they need you to build the costumes because they look amazing.
I agree, I saw the walk on video, but I didn't see the hidden skull underneath, just that the eyes moved, the fog effect and lighting. Have that detail is a nice touch and actually kind of helps the performer in an odd way to see a bit. Most fursuiters/cosplayers that have an animal head usually wear a black ski mask to cover/hide as much as possible. Actually, these types of costumes are hot as hell and heavy, but I always give props to those that pull it off. Specially since eva foam is actually a lighter material which helps a bit. < 3
You predicted DaRegularSauce working with Steel Wool, and him using the Glamrock and Classic Freddy cosplay to promote SB Ruin in the Pax West

I’m glad that you can prove that people can make amazing costumes fnaf costumes from eva foam, a lot of times people think that you need upholstery foam to make fnaf cosplays I’ve heard people say this
Most cosplays like this are made with EVA foam, and other types of foam as well
That's because that foam works so well for them 9/10 times. Both foams work fine.
Dang. I think that EVA foam would work better, since it wouldn’t absorb as much moisture, and would decrease the chances of mold growing because of the sweat from wearing it. Not to forget that you’d probably sweat less in EVA. Despite this, I know why people use upholstery foam. Upholstery foam is easier to get, like you can get it from your local Walmart store.

Hi,
So Ive got a question. So there's the google drive for the pattern of the amsk. But there isn't the dimensions ? Have someone found them and could help me ?

if the EVA foam is 10mm then around 25-50$ for 1-2m², and for the other materials I'd add another portion of that. so with around 50-100$ it should be possible to create something like this. But that's for my country if you're in america it would probably cost more.
This costume is so sick if you are happy to I'd love to see a step by step on how to create this at slow motion with proportions and everything
I second this! even with the pattern document it is difficult to put into practice especially with how fast the video is...Please consider this!
Same, I need the dimensions. And idk how to do it
Man I'd love to see Scott's reaction to this

I bet he would love it.
Scott actually commented on their lastest video
I just made my own Freddy mask it dope
Congratulations.
made a withered bonnie costume, wore it for the first time today. cant say it looked dope, but it was pretty fuckin decent for novice level
If they actually make a FNAF movie he should DEFINITELY be the costume designer!

Woah. this is the best springtrap cosplay i have ever seen
I cannot compliment this in any way that can fully express my love for this cosplay. The limited amount of words in the English language isn't enough to help me describe just how amazing, terrifying and beautiful this cosplay is. You are extremely talented. I only wish to be able to do something like this.
Please, keep up the amazing work. Cannot wait to see what you do next because I'm sure it'll be just as jaw droppingly mind-blowing as this.
Hey, amazing cosplay. But to everyone saying in the comments they could never do anything like this; you have to understand a lot of trial and error, and a lot of prior practice probably went into being able to make something this good. Anyone can build something like this, you just have to work hard to be able to do it. Everyone is talented in their own ways. Stay positive y’all.
He looks straight from the game!! Amazing job!
The way he lifts up his mask at the end was so awesome. I would pay someone some money just to make this for me because I do not have enough skill for this. Nice job!
Alright Question: How do I print the pattern because my printer uses normal sized paper so it comes out to small to use...
Same question
I think you print it in sections and tape them together
Hey did u figured it out??? I'm having the same problem and idk what to do, I don't want the head to be too big or too small afgdfsgd
@@nuriaescobar1862oh you too ? Idk how to do. Could have been cool to him to put MEASUREMENTS on the Google drive. I've been asking people for some times now. And I won't have any answer

Wish I had the artistic ability to make something like this. Absolutely incredible work! Would commission one if that ever became an option 👀
I'm not even kidding I would pay money to have a costume like this I really want to make my own but idk how to
This feels like a recipe to cook meth 0:06
Looking good, Springtrap.
Also I adore the inclusion of the purple guy inside the suit. Above and beyond, this is really spectacular.
Imposible xD , ese traje más realista que vi en mi vida .
For those of you wondering, the articulated hands and furring tutorial are in the description
When he linked the pattern in the description it would only show one image which is for a lil bit of the ears and jaw. I dont think it was supposed to just show that single one is this happening to you too??
@WolfsCosplayingJourneyDo you have the templates in the correct size? Why am I not able to print?
Can you share the patterns for the rest of the suit, like Afton's skull, the torso, shoulders, arms, legs, and feet patterns? I plan on making this, but the only patterns I see in the Google Drove folder are for the Spring Bonnie helmet. So could you share the rest of the patterns you used? I would greatly appreciate it.
Hey I've been asking for this for a long time. Did you figure it out?
Hey btw what size should someone use for the patterns? Maybe not as big but enough to comfortably wear
Hey I'm also asking for this. Did you figure it out?
I love how it turned out! although a question of what size should be the paper where it is printed to do the Cosplay, or the measurements more or less to guide me ;-; Please
Can you make a full step by step tutorial on this? I would like to build one of these for handing out candy on halloween
Dude that's insane, me as a amateur cosplayer that started making cosplays like two months ago I can't even imagine how hard it was to make all these things alone
This is how the “Fnaf in real life” was created 🥴

Alright boys, hear me out…if I know where att the springlocks are…I can make this mask and build it with springlocks?
The last couple years I’ve been getting into working with plastic for model and terrain making. Stuff like this makes me want to expand into cosplay.
I would love having even just the mask of this, it’s amazing
This is nice! Btw, if I'm using ms paint to print the template, how big does it need to be? 2x2? 4x4? 8x8?
i just tried printing in 4x4 and its small, its an 8x8
This is exactly what i need in this moment.
I fell in love with FNaF again after leaving it behind for years.
“Damn, I want to do that, but where would I get the budget for it? The only qualities I have are that I’m a night owl, I have a keen eye, survival instincts, and love pizzerias with creepy animatronics. Where am I gonna find a job that accepts those qualities?”

What thickness of EVA foam did you use for the mask?
I have an important question! How did u do the jaw? Better yet, how did u complete it and attach it to the main head? You didn't include it in the video and I'm trying to get my cosplay done before Halloween :0.
What are the measurements for printing? or how to prin?
Dude, this is just cool. Thank you for saving my Halloween life too. My friends dared me to be a character from FNAF a while back, and well SpringTrap is cool. And here is a person who had the dedication to make a Cosplay SpringTrap.
Thank you for making such an awesome suit, I do hope you wouldn't mind me using your design to save my reputation. If there's a problem, please let me know. I'ma tell, my friends, though, that I got the design from your channel, and that nothing was original in design.

Alternative idea for making the skull : just buy a skull mask and change it Abit to make it look like William afton's skull
