- This video is an unboxing of a special Operation Christmas Child shoebox packed for a 10-14 year old girl. It has a musical theme, which I have called Music Makers, and is filled with not only musical instruments, but a violinist Barbie doll and her bakery owner friend, among other things. Oh I just love that darling t-shirt. I love all the musical school supplies you can definitely spend a little more on treasures like that especially because you received so many wonderful donations. That musical recorder is beautiful. I love that shell compact it's gorgeous. You definitely packed those bags well with so many treasures. Super cute Barbie perfect for this box. I think this is one of your best boxes, if not, the best. My favorite things are all the little musical trinkets. I love the theme so much because it reminds me of my daughter who started singing in kindergarten and playing the guitar in 3rd grade. She has never stopped. She majored in music in college. I still love to give her musical themed trinkets. I am going to check out SHEIN for sure. 😊 🎵 perhaps the young lady who receives this box has a passion for music, or, will certainly develop a passion for it with all these beautiful gifts!

I thought the womens small T-shirt was perfectly fine. My granddaughter just turned 13. She is a slim girl and often wears womens small shirts and has for a long while. 🙂

I’ve put woman’s size small in 10-14 boxes many times, bc I’ve heard others say the same about their 13 and 14 year old girls. This one just appeared larger than typical, but it could be all in my head 😂. Like you said, I’m sure will be perfectly fine. I love all of your boxes and it would be hard to pick a favorite but this one would surely be in the running. It is unbelievable how much you got in that shoebox. Looking at it laid out on the table it doesn't look like it would fit in a overnight case. You surely outdid yourself on this with so many things that a young lady will surely love.

Wow, you really have this box stuffed with so many quality items. I love, love the shirt, and I would wear it myself! Your Barbies are perfect together; I haven't seen violinist Barbie before. And you have done a fabulous sewing kit. I've been working on my own recently. If space allows, I hope to include some fabric remnants that I have been purchasing at thrift stores. This miss will be delighted. TFS.

Have mercy. There are so many reasons why I love this shoebox. First, I used to play the violin, so it makes my heart smile. 🎻 From the lid of the box to that beautiful shirt, to even the ruler, you made this shoebox sing, Trish. 🎶 I love it all. ❤️ It’s literally exploding with love. this is such a cool theme, so many musical themed items. The shirt is so pretty. The sewing kit is put together very pretty. Love the recorder and home made song book. The Barbie's are fabulous! I just noticed the silver Barbie Hot wheels care and have been buying them up! lol

Hi Trish, This is a beautiful box. So, many wow items. I am also packing a few Barbie boxes for Miss 10-14, and I cannot believe how many items that I have piled up for each box... And now I can add a frisbee - Thanks! It scared my cat when it landed in my back yard! 😊
On a more serious note, I see that you have mixed and matched your Barbies - a cool idea! However, I am not sure if the "Baker" is one of the plus - sized Barbies. If so, she may not fit the Bakers outfit. Good luck in getting Miss Music Maker and friends back in her box. 🎵🎶🎶

Wow! I have never seen so much in a box. I had no idea that that much was put in them when I did them a few years ago. I have learned so much this year. I really feel sad for the ones I made in the past,
Thanks Sandy. Well, admittedly, I probably go a little bit overboard with some of my boxes. They don’t need to be packed like a Tetris puzzle, like I do, sometimes, but I am of the opinion that the boxes sent should be relatively full. Some of these children have never received a gift in their lifetime or possessed their own toy or worn clothing, other than hand me downs. It’s those children I have in mind when I pack my boxes. If there’s space, I fill it. That’s just me. If you can include a toothbrush, basic school supplies (pencils, paper, eraser, sharpener), coloring book and crayons, or colored pencils, a ball or jump rope and a wow item (stuffie, doll, truck, soccer ball/pump), that’s a great box. Everything else is gravy. I pour on a lot of gravy 😉

Thanks, Tammy. Sometimes I’m able to use space better than other times. This was one of those times I used every air pocket. Let’s put it this way, if you nuzzled your face into this one, you would suffocate, 😂
This is so amazing :) :) you defenetly included a lot, and yes, that flying disc surely can fly very high XDDDD
By the way, I play the recorder and I think you placed the mouth piece on upside down, the "mouth hole" should be in line with the line of holes, not the one hole at the back

High praise for this box. It definitely screams Special. Love ALL the musical items. I’m doing a boy musical box. Have the same coloring book and Miguel figure. After seeing the pencil case and erasers, I must have them. And the sewing label is so pretty.

Thanks, Denise. I found the Barbie on clearance at Walmart a couple of years ago. It was in a big box with one Barbie and 6 career outfits. The baker outfit was one of them, along with a construction worker, airline pilot, tennis player and Dr. It could have been $10, but honestly, I think it was only $5. It was definitely a great deal.
