The fact that Scream 7 will be filmed in Montreal does not necessarily mean that it will be set in New York City. It may very well be set in, say, upstate New York.
If I were writing Scream 7, this is what the opening scene would be -
It is Christmastime, and we see a cabin in some snowy woods. The outside of the cabin is decorated with Christmas lights. And inside the cabin are Sam, Tara, Chad, Mindy, Gale and possibly others. They have put up a Christmas tree, plus, there is a fire in the fireplace. We then see the characters from the outside (through a window). And a second or two later, Ghostface walks past the window and begins to spy on them.
Hey Jake, how about Scream meets Thankskilling! Ghost face Turkey!
Snow, twinkling lights, our new favorite Christmas movie! Move over Die Hard!
I really would like to see a Stab The Musical in a theater in nyc. I wish the shrine in Scream 6 had been inside a secret room of a theater where that show was being performed.

I think Gale shouldn't be back, maybe have her in a cameo on tv and maybe she comes at the end of the movie to report.
Bring back the core 4, Kirby, Danny and add like 4-5 people into the mix. Make it in the snow I like it, but not in an isolated place, because then you have only one location and the killer won't be putting a Ghostface costume and come back to the living room of a big resort.
I personally think this franchise is pretty much tired, so whatever they do, i don't have many hopes for this movie, i just want epic kills and a decent mystery and end the franchise with that.
The only thing that could be nice is if they get Stu back and make Danny his son, and they were the master minds behind 5 and 6, and than you make it cool but also make it 3, just like 5 was like 1, and 6 was like 2.

They filmed scream 6 here in my city (montreal) and i saw the sets but none of the actors. Im super excited they are supposed to be filming here again!!!! Hopefully i’ll be able to check out the sets and meet someone! 🖤
I would like to see more of the Kirby investigating the Ghostface cult/killings. Like some conspiracy shit that Holywood execs (Milton and Roman), those in Law enforcement (Detective Bailey, some other FBI/CIA agents) and some of the most dangerous serial killers in the US. A proper dark, murder mystery, Ghostface meets Jason Bourne type film 😂
Could turn scream into a thriller with that idea !

I actually loved Amber Freeman’s killer reveal in scream 2022, i actually liked the fact that it wasn’t really a surprising twist, i however didn’t particularly like the killer reveals in scream 6, from my honest point of view it was a bit weak.
I feel like London makes alot of sense, it's very similar to New York by being a big city, and it also just makes sense tbh.
I would love to see two male killers again in scream 7 maybe. Two female killers would be cool too but i feel like two male killers again would be sick cus billy and stu were the only ones to do that

I would have liked that the killer was not revealed. This would have made a lot of since with killing a lot of characters off, and letting some survive to bring in Scream 7. NO KILLER REVEAL!!!! NOW check this out.... Yes, let's bring back SIDNEY for Scream 7 and let's make her the killer!!!! Surviver gone SERIAL KILLER and making this her FINAL FILM in the franchise. She goes for Sam because Sam is also going crazy because of her father and make her a killer AS WELL!!!! Two Killers Killing for two different reasons.
Honestly no matter what working title they use, it will be called Scream VII in the end.

To me, the kills in the scream films have never been amazing. There’s plenty of stabbing and slashing but nothing really unique. That being said the ladder scene in Vi was amazing. But I really think Landon can add these creative kills to franchise, especially after seeing his work on the Happy death days and Freaky.

I pray that it follows fairly close to what I want for a 7th (and Final film). I think for a franchise first there should be a 1 to 2 year gap from the 6th film. I also want it to take place in multiple locations due to a cult of ghostface. The cult's motives are to end things once and for all acting in a kinda good but ya know still bad,They think that by killing off every survivor of past a new future will arise which is how we bring back Sidney and kinkade. I also think our core 4 and the rest in new York should be divided into different locations to show the power of the cult and online influence painting the survivors as the evil that's continued for so many years. Still a work in progress kinda spit balling here.

I think some fan favorites have to die to show that all bets are off and that there's real danger. If they were to listen to the fans I say set it around Christmas and have the story finish out around new years to show a new chapter in this universe and to go one step further release it on December 20th 2024 the same day as the original. I want the main story of all these characters to be wrapped up in this film but leave open the possibilities to more films and shows but with different characters, settings,tones and endings (more along the lines of Star wars visions and the boys diabolical) so we get more ghostface but letting other ways to tell a scream story shine one that's not hindered by what's already established. I think one way to achieve this is diving into the ghostface attacks that Kirby mentioned and the subreddit of incels and psychos waiting to be unleashed.
To film in montreal does not mean New York again. It could be any other city too.
But if it should represent the same city again, then they have to let this city feel like New York. We need at least one scene at the sqare or liberty, brooklyn bridge or what so ever.
And i hope they use a city like new york better. They were so many missed opportunitys to chase their victims down the allys, fire ladders up to the roof and so on.
I want long, intense conventional chase scenes. Idc if there is snow. I just want a fresh story and better reveal and pls some twisty plots
I think Danny, Tara and Mindy should die. One sibling of the two pairs from the core four has to survive (Sam and Chad). I wouldn't kill Gale or Sidney cause it's pointless with so many new characters to kill off.
Scream could film in New York. But I’m guessing it depends on budget. Marvel films their movies in Atlanta

One of the twins should go. Danny for sure. I dont think Kirby should die tho. After years of not knowing her fate, they should keep her. Survivor wise I think it should be Mindy (or Chad), a new male character, kirby, tara, Sidney and mayyyybe sam. I wouldn’t mind seeing sam die, i think her story is coming to an end, if there is a scream 8 they should focus on a new main character or just Tara herself

Mindy should die, and we have a crazy heart felt crying scene from Chad or something. Or Tara could die giving Sam the reason to be the killers if they ever make Scream 7. If Chad and Tara dies that would be cool for Mindy and Sam being the killers as I see them both as the best killers.

Is it just me or Danny is forsure a suspect. He might’ve known Richie in high school maybe was his best friend or something. Maybe he was apart of the Reddit where the killers would talk so he knew the whole plan. So after Sam killed Richie and moved he followed her maybe he felt some sort of connection to Sam through Richie? So in the subway scene when he ghostface was walking toward Sam and he stood in front of her was him telling the killer no not yet don’t touch her. He didn’t want to go inside the Theater at the end he went to get the police bc he wanted an alibi, he knew either Sam was going to die or not but either way if he was with the cops at that time he wouldn’t be a suspect.
He wanted to go to the Theater with her it‘s just that Sam didn‘t want him to because she didn‘t fully trust him yet.

I feel like ghostface should get a costume change like give them white to help them blend in wit the snow see that blood splash across the white outfit in the snow the bloody glove when they clean their knife and give the movie a until dawn vibe with the mystery of a windigo ghost face voice changer projecting animilistic sounds to lure curious characters or throw off old characters and have them on their toes also we shld only have 1 killer in this movie
