@elizabethmilliken5579 i don't. The basics of it are simple though and relatively easy to explain. Just take the block and remove each corner starting from the bottom about 25% in along the side. So on a 2 wide block, i would bring each corner in a 1/2 inch. Making an octagonal shape if viewed from above. Then go back in and round off each of those harsh corners sonthat you have no hard angles removing all of the saw marks as you do.
I love this pumpkin!

Thanks Johnny, great looking pumpkin. The right paint job makes a good carving great.
Exactly right. It's a simple carving, but a paint job really sets the bar.
Awesome video! Thank you for sharing your craft with us.
Thanks for the kind words Tony! It's a lot of fun! 😀
Thanks for the tutorial!! Did you build your tool holders?
@@EastCoastEDC I sure did. Built them out of some scrap pine and plywood I had in the shop.
@@JohnnyTheLayton Awesome! I need to make a small one for my desk
Nice carving. I would really like to know who made your knives.

Thanks for the great video, going to make some of these. Curious what color layers on the white one?
@jerryc8963 white one was a muddy tan and the lightly dry brushed with white before antiquing
I cant figure out how to get mine a cylinder. Do you have a slower video if that part

is that kratos in the background with a hammer?
That's Brok and Sindri, doing them as a carving commision.
