I was hired to create a promotional video for their upcoming student spring show "It Can't Happen Here," the story of a small town in Vermont during the rise of a charismatic authoritarian figure to the Office of the Presidency, and the repercussions that follow. After reading the play, I wrote and directed this short that, although not directly from the play, I felt pointed to its heart from a different perspective.
