Some of those little park lakes have some big mystery fish. I was fishing 10lb test with mackerel bait at Eisenhower Park about 20 years ago when something took line and then just broke it off. Then we tried 15lb test and it immediately happened again so we just figured that was a big turtle, who knows.
Last time I fished here I was using my Ultra Lite setup w/ 8lb/4lb leader and I foul hooked a carp this size on the tail. that was a fight of a lifetime!

Toast it a bit before so that it hardens instead of cold because then it will just fall off or won't even stay on the hook
