I just love what these machines can do it’s true magic.and your projects are great for beginners like me. Your projects are easy to follow. I will be purchasing my cart in a day or two after hubby pays the bills. Budget budget. Thanks for inspiration
FANTASTIC YOUR WEB SITE AND WHAT YOU ARE SHOWING EVERYONE JUST GETS BETTER AND BETTER...LOVE IT HAVE BOUGHT QUITE A FEW NEW DESIGNS.AND LOVE THAT YOU CAN WATCH THE VIDEOS ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE JUST A BEGINNER. WELL DONE YOU ARE FAB. MARGIE FROM S.A. AUSTRALIA
Thank you for the video Just a tip add a blob of blue tack to the end of a pen works well with picking up gems. Going to make my glasses case into a rotary cutter holder.
You're welcome Barbara. What a good idea I use mine for my mobile phone, so versatile aren't they. I use double sided sticky tape on a ball tool as I do lots of scrapbooking so I have always got double sided tape handy.
Beautiful glass case. And a big "Thank-you" for leaving the 'boo-boo' in the video. For those of you that did not catch it ... now ... you need to go back and watch it more carefully!!! Thanks, Kay.
You're welcome, honestly once you have made the first one you will be addicted they are really easy and so much fun. Give it a go you can do it. post a link to a photo once you have made it. :-)
I will see what I can do for you Mary. The dresden is along the same lines as the swirly placemat, I don't know if you have watched the SAL for that one. I released it yesterday here is the link th-cam.com/video/sUf28FsBeqs/w-d-xo.html
I have seen some people has the initial / letter on the front. May I ask if this initial is embroidered on the piece of fabric first before the whole ITH process, which include the quilting? If it is, would the quilting sew over the initial? TIA for your reply. I love seeing your video first before I attempt to buy the design and then doing it.
Hi Odie no it is embroidered after the quilting as it is all completed in the hoop so it is just a case of loading the thread colour that you want the initial stitched in. It is clearly shown in the instructions so you wont have any problem with it. Thanks for watching and happy stitching.
I purchased your pattern but when I try to start, it says pattern extends to the outside of embroidery on 7×5 hoop, so I changed hoop to 10×6 and still says pattern extends to outside. I'm using Brother NQ 1600E. Please advise. Thank you.
Hi Angel you need to rotate the design 90 degrees when you load it into your machine. Some machines bring the design in landscape rather than portrait so to speak, I dont know why it would seem yours is one of them. Just rotate it when you load in and it will be fine. If you are not sure how look in your user manual.
Hi Olga thanks you, sorry you didn't like the music. My microphone wasn't working when I made this video but I do plan on redoing it again without music with a voice over instead. some like the music some don't but you can always mute the sound on if you are finding the music distracting, that's what I do on some videos. Happy stitching.
Yes you are right I could and I do have a Silhouette Cameo that will do the same thing, however not everyone does, so I do everything by hand so everyone can enjoy making them without the need to feel that they have pay out lots of money.
I enjoyed this video, but as I am dyslexic and wear glasses, I find it hard to read the text below when I stop & restart the video (the text get covered by the 'pausing motion' of the video. I did turn my sound off so that I could concentrate on reading and viewing. Your videos are VERY informative and well done. I have just been spoiled 'hearing' and 'viewing' your other videos AND hearing your lovely voice. I can say that I am hooked on Kreative Kiwi ITH embroidery designs.
Hi Ren, I do have plans to redo this one in the future. When I made it my microphone was broken hence the subtitles. I am pleased that you enjoy my videos and enjoy the KK designs. Happy stitching I hope to see you makes on Kreative Kiwi's Facebook group.
You're welcome Ren. I look forward to seeing them on KK Facebook group. ITH designs make wonderful gifts IMO. I make my Christmas pressies throughout the year with them.
You wont be disappointed it stitched out beautifully here is a link to both pairs of scissors I use for my machine embroidery amzn.to/2Mx8onD amzn.to/2vzCyjQ
My mic wasn't working when I made this video so I added subtitles and music. You can turn the music off just by clicking the mute slider on the video next to play and pause. I plan to remake this video with proper sound. Thank you for watching.
I am sorry but didn't have a microphone when I first started doing these videos as it started as a favour to help someone. I didn't actually set out to create a teaching channel but after the first one I was asked to create more so I invested in a mic and set up my channel. You can always mute the music, there are only a few early ones like this. I hope you enjoy the rest. Happy stitching.

This is so awesome. I've been making glasses cases, but nothing as cute as this. Thanks for a great video. I love the music even at 7 am!!!
Thank you glad you like them. I only added faux fur trim rather than regular fabric. It hold glasses and phones in the case better I find.

You're weclome thanks for watching. I cut through several layer of tin foil after I have finished using them. They are a few years old now.

if you had a scanncut you would save on trimming time by cutting all pieces out to shape

Where can I buy and download the glasses pattern?
I have been told if you fold alum. foil and cut thru it, your scissors will get a sharper edge.
Thank you I will try that I have nothing to loose.
could you do a vidio on crady patch bag at all please?
It is already working its way to the top of my to do list Tina. I have one more SAL in front of it then I will be doing the bag.
Hi Tina I have just finished filming the clutch bag which is in crazy patch and I will be doing the other bag next.
Interesting video but I could not turn off the music driving me 😜
