I got my hair dyed rose gold and it looked amazing. Washed out afer a week. Got it redyed and it was SO MAGENTA... now it's just a gross copper orangy shade.. I might give this a try.

Definitely going to try this. Cant believe I got a $250 balayage and it was orange. He fixed it with gloss supposedly but that brown color only lasted for like 3 weeks. Don’t want to pay another $60-70 so thank you so much for this video 💗🫶🏼

😢 Tinted Shampoo - 😕Dye mixed with developer (your Feria/other perm dyes) becomes inactive after about 1.5 hours after mixing. What Works: Semi or demi-permanent color that does NOT have to be mixed with developer, mixed into some shampoo, then stored in a container with all the air squeezed out, like a ziploc. The more air in the container, the faster it becomes useless.

you can also tone with a demi permanent color. BUT my hair was dyed orange instead of pink and I didn't want to have to strip the color before toning again.

I did mine the very next morning!! Haha I was not about to wait! You mostly have to keep time frame in mind when working with bleach. Not so much color.

Oh no! Try soaking it in purple shampoo to see if that will help tone it. Unless you just want it dark brown again you can do it tomorrow. As long as you aren’t double bleaching it, you should be fine. I waited overnight for this video.

I’ve never used it so I can’t tell you if it will for sure work. You will have to just try it. Or maybe find a video where someone did it? Blue gets out orange brassy tones and purple gets out yellow tones

I dyed the next morning. Yes as long as your hair still has it’s integrity and you’re not bleaching 8 times in a row, it will be fine to color the same day.

Idk girl I’m not a professional...I’d probably strip the color all together with a color remover and dye again so I get a uniform look. You always want to dye your roots last bc the heat from your head processes the color faster. Start on the bottom and work your way up. Good luck
i just colored and highlighted my hair for the first time. I didn't leave the highlights in long enough and pulled too much in one spot. How long do i have to wait to redye it. or atleast redye some of the highlighted spots. Thanks. You look gorgeous
you can do it as soon as you wash out AS LONG AS YOUR HAIR FEELS HEALTHY. i wouldn't recommend more that 3 bleach sessions at once tho. definitely do your own research...I'm not a professional.
My hair is naturally a dark brown almost black. It was highlighted to a honey brown/blonde color. I ended up with this after trying to go pink. It should work on your blonde hair if you’re trying to go dark again. Blonde hair takes color best.
It just depends on how light your orange is. If its as dark as my hair is here, you might have some orange/red tones peaking through. If your hair is a couple levels lighter it should work. Just be prepared to have to dye again sooner or darker. Again not a professional so don't take my word as the end all be all. This is just from my experience doing my hair at home. It ends up just being an experiment lol

I waited overnight the last time I bleached bc I botched it. If your hair is damaged it doesn’t ever repair itself. It will be the same amount of damage no matter how long you wait. Not a professional tho so I would definitely do your own research before dying tour hair at home.

In this video I used the L’Oréal Féria brown. But I would recommend the Revlon frost and glow for anyone who wants a quick highlight without having to tone!
Probably not much. You can try to dye again but make sure you look for a brown that says “golden” in the name. Most dark box dyes have red undertones in them unless you go for a golden color. A blue shampoo and toner if it bugs you that much. It might help but idk what that would do to dark hair dye. I’d definitely research that first. I’m not a stylist or color expert.

My hair was orange from me trying to go pink 😂 it wasn’t brassy from bleach. It did well covering it up. I have a video where I did the same thing on brassy highlights and it covered it up well. What also works is Clairol Natural Inaticts colour "6c No Brass"- leave it on for 20 minutes, it's a demipermanent and just glases the hair with a cool light brown, super advice from the Clairol Balayage for Brunettes kit and Clairol pros! #justadummywithorangehairthistime

Also putting hair dye that has been mixed with developer in conditioner will literally do nothing. Once color is fully oxidized it stops working.
i just spent 190$ on my daughters hair to fix it and still looks the same. I pray this works!

I would go ahead and add the developer for more lift! My hair was pretty light under the pink so that’s why I think it took so well!

yes but i was going for a warm tone brown. if you want to get rid of the warm use an ash brown dye.

Yes i think that would work!! I would try to use a brush so you get a better root to color blend!

Hi there. I have a question. I used ash blonde color to achieve a brown color like yours at the end of the video. But instead it went went orange/red. Please tell me how to fix it? I also want to achieve this brown shade like yours. But I am afraid if I use this hair dye(since it is golden) my hair would turn golden or even red?? Please tel me how to fix my brassy reddish hair. Pleaseee I have an event to attend, I have to fix my hair asap😭
Again definitely not a professional. Blue toner/hair mask gets orange/brassy tones out of hair. From my experience, I just dye over with dark brown and it’s fine. Here’s this video I did with a neutral medium brown color over brassy bad highlights. th-cam.com/video/4DAcHiKgSZU/w-d-xo.html
@@DeanndraNunnery blue toner also works for red brassy hair? I mean is there specific toner for red brass and specific toner for orange brass?? Or blue will be fine for both?
I’ve never used it so I can’t tell you if it will for sure work. You will have to just try it. Or maybe find a video where someone did it? Blue gets out orange brassy tones and purple gets out yellow tones

How long should you wait before you dye again? Can I re dye on the same day?
I dyed the next morning. Yes as long as your hair still has it’s integrity and you’re not bleaching 8 times in a row, it will be fine to color the same day.

@@JDoe-hb7pc yes it definitely helped. I think I should've left it in just a tad bit longer but it sure did take out so much of the orange (: I think you just have to keep checking your hair as time passes to make sure you get it as dark or light as you want!

Hi I’m sorry but I’m very late! I really need your help, I got my hair done to a honey blonde balayage and I was told to dye my hair to a burgundy colour like yours in the beginning of the video it was exactly that colour. Yesterday I dyed my hair a medium brown and when my hair dried it’s gone orange and it’s it’s deep dark brown at the ends of the hair! Please help me should I just redye it again? x
What color are you trying to get it? I would try a color remover to get rid of the orange and dark ends. The try to dye again on an even base

Idk girl I’m not a professional...I’d probably strip the color all together with a color remover and dye again so I get a uniform look. You always want to dye your roots last bc the heat from your head processes the color faster. Start on the bottom and work your way up. Good luck

i just colored and highlighted my hair for the first time. I didn't leave the highlights in long enough and pulled too much in one spot. How long do i have to wait to redye it. or atleast redye some of the highlighted spots. Thanks. You look gorgeous
you can do it as soon as you wash out AS LONG AS YOUR HAIR FEELS HEALTHY. i wouldn't recommend more that 3 bleach sessions at once tho. definitely do your own research...I'm not a professional.

My hair is naturally a dark brown almost black. It was highlighted to a honey brown/blonde color. I ended up with this after trying to go pink. It should work on your blonde hair if you’re trying to go dark again. Blonde hair takes color best.

if i have orange hair and used a lighter brown dye, would i achieve light brown results?
It just depends on how light your orange is. If its as dark as my hair is here, you might have some orange/red tones peaking through. If your hair is a couple levels lighter it should work. Just be prepared to have to dye again sooner or darker. Again not a professional so don't take my word as the end all be all. This is just from my experience doing my hair at home. It ends up just being an experiment lol

I waited overnight the last time I bleached bc I botched it. If your hair is damaged it doesn’t ever repair itself. It will be the same amount of damage no matter how long you wait. Not a professional tho so I would definitely do your own research before dying tour hair at home.

How permanent is this color? Or is it temporary?
its semi permanent. It says pretty well but i do use a color depositing shampoo and I usually refresh every 2-3 months.
I’ve tried this and it works only for a couple weeks. The dye fades too fast and then you get orange hair again and many split ends 😖😖😖

Any alternative for this hair color in loreal range,, bcoz this isn't available here in pakistan. I can only find loreal excellence and casting creme gloss

Would this work for orange roots? My hair is the opposite...dark on bottom orange on top.
You should be able to if you’re going darker. Just make sure to apply dye to your roots LAST because they process faster.

In this video I used the L’Oréal Féria brown. But I would recommend the Revlon frost and glow for anyone who wants a quick highlight without having to tone!

I died my hair brown using the same box but a shade darker and whenever the sunlight hits it, it looks red. What can I do?
Probably not much. You can try to dye again but make sure you look for a brown that says “golden” in the name. Most dark box dyes have red undertones in them unless you go for a golden color. A blue shampoo and toner if it bugs you that much. It might help but idk what that would do to dark hair dye. I’d definitely research that first. I’m not a stylist or color expert.

I got failed highlights turned orangy which doesn't compliment my warm skin tone i looked silly and cheap dark browns and red brown is perfectly suits on me

My hair was orange from me trying to go pink 😂 it wasn’t brassy from bleach. It did well covering it up. I have a video where I did the same thing on brassy highlights and it covered it up well. What also works is Clairol Natural Inaticts colour "6c No Brass"- leave it on for 20 minutes, it's a demipermanent and just glases the hair with a cool light brown, super advice from the Clairol Balayage for Brunettes kit and Clairol pros! #justadummywithorangehairthistime
