Do they pronounce V's as B's or not? At 3:31, I hear v from Pau and at 5:02, I hear V from José but I can't be sure.
In Spain it's common to hear Vs pronounced as Bs. Eg Vale is pronounced Bale, Valencia is Balencia etc I do not know why. However in latina America a lot of people pronuncie Vs as Vs. This tends to be a Spanish "quirk"
@@francis_n I think it is not exclusive to Spain but over the time, with the effect of globalization, some people (many of them in Latin America) started to pronounce it as V. When you learn Spanish, usually it is taught that the sound is identical to B.

Hoy día que está muy de moda (moda impuesta desde EEUU) decir soy latina o latino, cuando lo que realmente quieren decir es que son americanos, es decir del continente americano, concretamente latinoamericanos. Estaría bien que recordarais por qué el barrio se llama de La Latina, no sea que crean que es por los motivos equivocados, y así recordemos todos que latino es el que habla latín, y no la aberración de significado que se difunde hoy día.
These subtitles are not useful because they're an interpreted translation.

The spoken word has the added nuance of giving a walk to the audience, not just going on a walk.

Translating disaster into mess is to miss the feel of what he meant. There's more instances of interpreted translation, and as I watch the video, I find myself confused wondering why I feel the meaning to be one way and the translation says another.

Where possible we do translate in quite a literal way, to make it easier to understand how the Spanish works. There is a limit, though: go too literal and you can sometimes lose the meaning.
If it helps understand and learn phrases, making your own literal translation can be a fun activity."
