Borg is a wonderful foss Project. The only drawback is the need for compute on the front end. My solution involves using Restic (includes deduplication by default) with Backblaze B2 on the back end. B2 storage is enterprise quality and super super cheap at half of one cent ($0.005) a GB. You'll be surprised how unbelievable this solution is.
Hi, Thanks for these informative privacy-focused videos. It's good to see a new channel dedicated on the topic of privacy; we don't have a lot on this topic. I hope you get a huge number of subscribers :). Now, don't want to sound rude or snobbish but... Debra + Ian = Debian (1:12). Maybe somebody already mentioned this to you. Or, maybe not. Thanks.
Thanks again for next great video. Will you cover a topic of "a secure hotspot" - I mean how to configure iPad / iPhone as a hotspot for a Mac (any extra settings?) . Or does it take only to (1) do things you showed on iOS video, next (2) run Mullvad VPN app / Proton VPN app, and finally (3) connect Mac to Ipad as hotspot? Thank you.

I would recommend running the VPN on macOS and using the iPhone as a hotspot while connected via USB vs Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
Just FYI it's "deb ian" not deeb ian, it stands for debra + ian, persons names. good guide though
Thanks for sharing! What a sad story. 😔
