Being developmentally behind is very very common with twins!... I have twin brothers and I saw.. that there were issues.. one of them on had a slight speech delay.. for the first few years of his life than he outgrew it. they also have more problems with immunity.. twins seem to get sick way more!! my stepmother had bought a bunch of books about twins and having them.. etc etc.. and multiple births and we learned this almost 30 years ago when they were born.. Mariah had to birth these babies at 35 weeks!!!!! because she had preeclampsia; gestational diabetes and was at high risk for going into frequent seizures!!! she was on bed rest and progesterone it was a horrific!!! pregnancy she's lucky she was able to have them!!! and lucky nothing happened to her! She did awesome... they will outgrow everything and catch up to where they need to be... being developmentally delayed is very common with twins like I said in the beginning... A lot of them do not go to full term they are premature sometimes as much as a month or more!... My brothers were early also they will outgrow it ...
