This your method is simply the best. Please I used neck 3by3, then back was 1. Pls my question is do you add sewing allowance when cutting the neck area?
@@HarmyRaph Thank you so much. The 3 by 3 and 3 by 1 have the shoulder joining sewing allowance inclusive already. So after joining the shoulder what would be left is 3 by 2.5 ,then 3 by 0.5 I hope this answers your question.
You are welcome, I will work on the cutting process and upload soon but I can't guarantee the stitching of this particular outfit as the process was not recorded but it may come up sometime in the future with another fabric .
Oh sorry about that, I Guess That means the Chantilly lace has stretched out, before you were ready to attach the collar. Since it is 21 inch with zipper allowance, then it did not stretch out more than a inch, you can try joining the shoulders with extra 0.25 or 0.5 inch to reduce the neck circumference. I hope that works
You are welcome, Zipper was already added to the dress before i took the neck measurement... After which the collar was fixed , then a button and button loop was attached on each end . So the zipper did not continue into the collar. You can also decide to fix your own collar before fixing the zipper.
@@soniaumoru2135 Yes, the 2inches is inclusive of my sewing allowance, at the end of sewing my collar height was 1.2 inches. So factor in your sewing allowance as well, the allowance to turn it with the lining and the allowance to join the collar with the outfit.... So you may want to re-watch that part again for better understanding

Hi, thanks for sharing. Please do you have a full tutorial of the dress itself? Kindly share if yes. I checked your channel but could find it. ❤
You are welcome, No I do not.....
@@EasySewingwithTAIC sorry I meant to say I couldn't find it rather.
How many inches will give at front and the back neck cutting
She use 3 by 1 for the back and the front 3 by 3.
I followed this same step, but it didn't work out on chantilly lace,d neckline is too wide i end up getting 21 inches 😢including d zipper allowance

Thanks for the tutorial 🙏, but I didn't see you adding zipper on the blouse, does it mean no zipper was added?

Ahh 😅😀.... I appreciate your feedback. Amen and you too.
Plz can I attach the zip on the turtle neck
Oh yes you can, but make sure to include the zipper allowance while taking the neck circumference.
Please the measurements to get the neck
3 by 3 for the front
3 by 1 for the back
Measure round the neckline to get the neckline circumference after joining at the shoulder
Thanks
You are welcome
Please what neck depth and width did you use?
3 by 3 for the front and 3 by 1 for the back .
@@EasySewingwithTAICdid you add seam allowance before cutting the neckline?
Thank u

Thank you very much for this video.
Please you said 4.75+ 2 is the 2 for zip allowance?
The 2 inches is the height of the collar, I added it to the radius to know how wide I will fold my fabric.
You are welcome
So does this mean if I want my collar to be 3" it would have been a +3?
