The one that I am replacing had given me fantastic results and never an issue except when it died 7 years after purchasing it. So I'm hoping to see if I can get that kind of service from this one. I noticed what you said about printers going back to white again. I just hope it does not attract a lot of dust. I'm getting ready to watch your setup video for this printer. I really enjoy you pointing out the features of this. I did not know about the buttons until you showed it in your video. I also think it's an odd place to put a power button in the back. For myself that's not much of an issue since I have left all my printers on 24/7 since you could connect to them wirelessly. I'd love to convenience of needing something printed and not having to get up to turn on the printer. Again thank you for such a knowledgeable video.
I did appreciate your video explaining the unboxing and set up, however Nowhere on the internet can I find a video explaining how to print a photo using photo paper. On some occasions the printer emits two pages, a blank page and the printed page.
I got this printer because of a crafter on Tik Tok and I’m happy with it, but once I’m not paying the subscription my printer stopped working! 😳 not sure if I cancel it if I get to avoid that all together. But I like it because I’m going to do decals and stickers now.

I liked your commentary on the HP envy although I have the 6000 series. I’m trying to figure out how to copy a document on both sides ex. My insurance card. It has No problem copying on two sides from the computer but at present I’m having trouble scanning both sides of my insurance card!

Do you happen to know what it means when you get the red X on the control panel and it acts like it's printing but there is no ink on the paper. It could mean that the ink cartridge is empty but I have no clue
Your video is great, but I hate the 6055 and am returning it. Everything you pointed out as issues is correct. I just am not going to deal with it. The power button in the back is totally stupid!
Do you know if the ink injection ports dry out after a long time of no use? I had an other printer a while ago that was not used for several months and it stopped working because the ink dried inside the injection ports and I dont want this to happen again thanks!
My trusty HP ENVY 120 just failed. I don't need a printer for work:) I typically scan and save as PDF to my desktop then drag it into a folder. As far as printing, it's not that often, and when I do, I'm printing sheet music. The 6055 should allow me to do the same right? I rarely used the interface on my ENVY 120 to do anything, I always go into my "settings" then "printers and scanners" on my iMac. As long as I can continue to do that, this printer should be all I need. Any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks:)

it's a pretty very simplistic looking printer but for to be an envy, should've came with a touch screen. I have a regular 7500?and it's tough connecting it to the internet so have to call HP later l.
Does this go into sleep mode? Does one have to turn the printer back on physically before printing anything say in a day or 2 later after being left on?
Hello, am I able to put precut A5 paper in the tray in order to print ? Or can I only use letter size? My only goal for getting this printer is to print my A5 inserts.
You did want comments, and my experience was not as good with this printer. It wouldn't print, no matter how I set it up, reset the printer, etc. I finally saw another TH-cam video that identified the problem of not printing. You press the Windows and R key at the same time, then type in services.msc into the dialogue box. Then you look for Print Spooler, shut it down, then start it again. Apparently, there is a que or cache built up in this app that needs to be cleared out. Once I did that, the printer was fine. I let HP know they should include that with instructions, but I bet they won't.

This printer installed easily on my desktop and phone. Even my old laptop running Linux Mint automatically detected the wifi setup. Very nice.

I usually leave it on. Turning it on and off regularly seems to reduce the lifespan of the printer

No. It generally does not go into the sleep mode

You can use A5 paper. Anything A4 and smaller will work
