Angelina Jordan is who she is. This is a great cover. But I would have loved to hear her sing White Strips "Seven nations army" as Haley Reinhart did. What Haley did with that song really surprised me. There was no way in h**l it could end up as a jazz song to me! I bet there are similar songs Angelina could twist and turn in her own "Angelina way" and present them as masterpieces no one thought of. THAT wouldn´t surprise me at all. But I think it´s about time she also steps outside her comfort zone and tries something of her own on her next record. She´s been in this business for ten years now. I think she has learned so much from the way she has interpreted the covers she´s done so far. She is fully capable of writing her own material. She has so much musicality in her blood and her voice is so finetuned by now. So I don´t think she would have any problem doing that by now.
She released over 160 Songs until now and when she hopefully reached the age of Haley she will spend us hundreds new beautiful more Songs 💕 hope I am still alive 💞🙏
