- In this playthrough we will be playing modded terraria a.k.a Calamity, trying to beat the game using melee only! This playthrough was super fun and especially for a first time calamity player I can definitely see myself coming back to this! My favorite part of calamity melee playthrough is how you grab your new shiny hot Murasama to cheese events after DoG. It's so satisfying. 😂

My favorite way to get money is the crystal shard duplication glitch. It gets you 20 platinum a stack

This was put together so well!!!! The voice over and editing was impressive. P.s u should have fitting music for every clip, for example u had universal collapse as the music to crafting murasama when didnt put it the actual DoG fight

If you wanna play more calamity you should use the calamity texture pack, it looks sick. Also if you use mostly the terra blade in a run, reforge your accessories to quick because it actually does more damage with high attack speed than it does with just flat damage boosts.

I’d recommend a mod called “Lights and shadows” It’s basically shaders but for terraria. And if you combine it with the fancy lighting mod it makes the game look great.

@@Jelms no what he said is wrong its like everything that death mode does, like more damage and health, but infernum just straight up makes it WAY harder by changing the fight entirely, new attacks and attack patterns and AI, also try fightning polterghast there as u said it was easy

btw theres a crafting ui u can make with magic storage. it puts in all the crafting stations u have like anvils work benches dye vats etc so u can just search up what u want to craft in it as long as u have the resources

@@Jelms If you do intend to do an infernum playthrough of calamity, may I recommend utilising the music mod that comes with infernum? (It can be used in conjunction with calamity's soundtrack)
Maybe even give calamity's own rogue class a shot with the playthrough?

Just so you know, stuff like the arena builder and the NPC that sells blocks are not a Calamity feature

You can get luminite after beating Moon Lord from asteroids. Don't need to kill ML over and over again. I made this mistake and it was so painful

I would reccome d instead of trying to beat wall of flesh for 3 hours use some beenades to start the fight off as they still count as melee and do a lot of damage.

This is very good! You are very underrated. I do have some thing to say:
1. For your next playthrough, try to remove most of the "QOL" mods such as LuiAFK. While useful, it does feel like cheating.
2. Most of the changes such as Non Consumable boss summons are a Calamity thing.
3. The only mods you need are actually:
-Recipe Browser
-Boss Checklist
-AlchemistNPC lite
-Fargo's mutant mod
-Content Mod (Calamity and etc)
- Mods you feel like using
Still an awesome video and you are very good for your first playthrough.

It’s a part of the luiafk mod add on that makes a auto hellavator as well as instant arena builder!
