@@MTBTrailMagic yes it was the bomb 😊. The climb was fairly long as described but well worth it. Way wider than it looked on video. Thanks again cheers
Rode that over Labour Weekend, def my favourite trail in Hanmer! A good loop is Tombstone then at the end walk over to start of Red Rocks. Both trails don't have the horrible pee gravel the lower trails do! Also Addiction has a new entry and exit! Braaap!
Great video. 👍 I was fortunate enough to hear about that new track before my visit there last month and so got to ride it. I can't say I rode it quite like your video though. Much slower and with more caution. It was wet and slippery at the time. 😂 And I'm not as good at riding. Tombstone is a great addition to the trail system in Hanmer. I can't wait to get back and ride it again.
Thanks Aaron. I heard about it only days before I went up too, and yeah I was probably going a little faster than I should have considering it was my first time lol! I've heard the intention is to make more trails to branch off tombstone. Certainly can't wait for that!
That's a hard one. I'm slow at uphills considering how much biking I do, so it would have taken me about 30min of I didn't faff with the camera etc. Being a beginner at MTB you might still be a good climber, so could be faster than me. Safe bet maybe allow an hour? Sorry I can't be any more help on that one.
Great video ! taking the day off tomorrow and heading up. Looks tight for enduro bars but looking forward to it cheers
My bars are 790mm so should be pretty ok for you too. It's a fun trail for sure!

Thanks buddy!
Great video Dale, I can't wait to ride this!
Yeah Phill, it's a good one to link up the western trails with the east. 👌
Heading back up that way in the next few weeks, this trail is on the list, it looks sweet! Nice riding
You won't be disappointed! Thanks for watching.

Haven't ridden Hanmer trails yet hopefully get up there in the coming weeks or early next year.
Plenty of trails to do there. Then relax in the thermal hot pools, or go to the pub, haha!
Hi, how long would it be to climb this trail for beginners? Thanks!
