The classic could've been better, but in my opinion, the thing that really ruined the event is how the community/developers managed their tasks. Sure, some of them did good, but some did not. Great video btw.

Like what you said how classic games are broken, many things would’ve been nice if they picked sequels, inspired, classic styled, remakes & remasters, or fan remakes & remasters would’ve good picks for the event. There are games from 2008-2016 that are still being updated. This event was okay and had lots of potential. I give it a 5/10.

You calling Bee Swarm Simulator similar to PvZ hurt me. It is loosely based on ATTACK OF THE SLIMES, and it's remake, REVENGE OF THE SLIMES. I think BSS did the best job out of any game in the event, because it really felt like you were playing a classic roblox game. Arsenal was really well made, but it just didn't feel like you were playing a classic game.
I agree BSS was the most playable event, and for anyone wondering revenge of the slimes was a game made by the devs of build a boat back in 2016.
After The Classic and The Games ended, I noticed that these two events are tied to The Hunt not because they have the word “The” or because their dev hunts it’s because it has a time travel theme mixed with the Old Roblox or Olympics theme, let me explain in the description of The Infinite Vault in the event page it reads “In the Infinite Vault what’s old is new and new is old. Have you traveled forwards or backwards in time? Which way you go does not matter - only how many treasures you gather.” The Classic is old is new since It’s OG Roblox mixed with new games and The Games being new is old because of New and Old TH-camrs, also the concept for The Games is a combination of The Classic and The Hunt almost like its last dev hunt this year. I’m saying this because the Halloween Event is around the corner and yet no feedback survey or games leaked since examples like Arsenal and Adopt Me are making their OWN event during October
(TL;DR: The Hunt, Classic and Games are just for the return of events and just a celebration of how Roblox has grown over 3 or 4 years which means it’s not the same format forever and Halloween Event must be a solo game event.)
i was pumped when the classic was announced. i thought they were gonna recreate classic games like heli-wars: desert attack, but then i got a healthy dose of reality when more information was available. once it was done, i only remember the lobby, and the stuff bee swarm and arsenal did. everything else kinda existed, or definitely existed.
can't wait for the classic part 2 with the newly featured Sol's RNG.
Sol's RNG is such a newgen game, there's no point to it other than pretty much gambling, it's called the CLASSIC for a reason, but roblox themself didn't even follow that rule of it being classic

Dress to impress wasn’t that bad. it’s just an Obby it’s not creative or a cool Obby but it’s fun. Much more fun then blade ball live topia and driving empire combined

Main things to make future events fun
Have the Hubs like the classic but if you want to also want a dev hunt with badge reward make the hub with enough reward points so people don’t have to play all the games if they don’t like them
If you’re making a themed event/dev hunt put games that are similar to that theme/ just is that theme and willing to make their game with that theme and keep watch on the games if they are actually doing something good and not just a cashgrab
Make each game give a reward and not reward points and have the prizes this detailed of this event but don’t have the bling track
Ok, I’m sorry but there’s no way restaurant tycoon got ranked higher then dress to impress. Dress to impress has a whole obby, and implements tix in with it so people don’t skip everything, but restaurant tycoon is just afking until you have fed all the classic customers that’s bs. Another thing is that dress to impress was one of the most playable.

As long as I can remember, RPG games were included in past events. If I remember correctly, Meep City (before it was ruined by the community) had a mission to where you had to play the star ball minigame to get a Nickelodeon themed accessory.
i've been wondering what happened to that event for YEARS, wasn't it the one where the meep was in that hamster ball??? i didn't realise it was an event minigame, i thought it was permanent

One important detail that Roblox just doesn't care or even dumb to think about, is adding 2016-2018 hit games just to replace the dead old games.
I am giving 4/10 to this event because they didnt added their concepts like haunted house rework(I mean real game one),vending machine part(it would be like boss fight but different),boss prize,buying classic items like sk4tr boy hat with tix and more..

Adopt me IS a classic game, it's been running since 2017, it deserved it's spot in the classic, but the execution of the event was kinda poorly made, livetopia was kinda sloppy also but it was quick to complete, so i'm fine with it
8:41 tbh i kinda have mix opinions on this, i feel that its more modern family life (i.e. livetopia) then yeah events from those games suck hard. However games that the devs are more passionate about and want an event can make some great ones. an example i feel that was good example is how a bunch of fnaf rp games came together to make this really awesome event that felt it had more from the heart than another Ive seen,
if roblox searched for these passionate rp games, it can be great
It was a great event tbh. Haven't played any since 2018 and this one I did put my full time on it.
Prizes are awesome why are people saying the hunt prizes were better and it was way easier in the hunt.

I cheesed bedwars by going to build height limit and all the way to one of the corners of the map and just wait there (the penguins dont know how to deal with build height limit and either get stuck and despawn after a while, or they just jump off of their towers into the void)
I remember in like 2017 or 2018, maybe 2019 (not sure) there was an event to raise a chick in Adopt Me for a special hat. They literally just took the code from that but replaced the reward, how lazy do you have to be to do that 😭

Putting restaurant tycoon into c tier is CRAZY. We're talking about the event the game made not the game itself, i spent 2 hours straight getting the tokens. Since the game didnt exactly tell me how to get the tix i only got 1 single tix. Wow. Probably ahould have been D tier or lower.

The event was good in my opinion, Devs should've put more effort into it, All of them were lazy and easy to get.

I don't like the hunt or the classic. the hunt was so overwhelming it felt like a chore, there were so many games that would've killed me to be caught on, I literally did 5 games from the hunt. the classic is no better, the hub quests I will admit were alright to do, but I used a tutorial as I wasn't spending 7 hours looking for these quest completion things, and I only started with 3 hours left of the event, as it took a really bad representation when I first saw it, the games are downright boring, and the only game I could say that I enjoyed on the classic was tower defence simulator. Arsenal was also really bad, I struggled so hard just completing the event, and I didn't even manage to do it cause my game crashed on the last bit, but to complete the event in 15 minutes for 1 token??? it's criminal, I have so much bad stuff to say about this event and I am not looking forward to these returning events as they're, as said, just the same thing with slapped on aesthetics, it will get really boring, really quickly, and it already has. I'm suspecting people only like this event because it's a throwback to old Roblox, which people refuse to admit due to their blindness by nostalgia.
This is controversial. Most of the games I agree are very boring, like Driving Empire after a few races, Adopt Me with just raising a pet until it's a grownup, and Restaurant Tycoon just go afk until you feed 150 Classic Customers, but I disagree with most of the things that you say. Tower Defense Simulator isn't the only good one because at least other games like Bee Swarm, Dusty Trip, and Arsenal actually tried to make a good event. For Arsenal, you just suck because it isn't terrible, nor terribly difficult. You can get friends to help you with tokens if you could, and Arsenal does an amazing job in other events that it's in. For the Classic Hub, it does an amazing job putting things that made Classic Roblox like that. The tasks aren't hard to figure out and complete except for character doors, secrets in the clouds, secret wardrobe, and buried treasure. And no, I am not being blinded by the nostalgia. it's cool that Roblox does this, and they don't deserve the hate. The devs are the ones carrying the whole event, basically. I have been playing since 2016, which is not the classic era of Roblox. Even I found the event to be mid. It's not terrible like you state it. It could be better if they just do something similar to this, but get good ldevelopers ike Jandel and RoLve to partake in another event, so it can be an amazing event and possible one of the best events Roblox has ever done. Not including RB Battles or Ready Player 2 since it's not all Roblox.
@@Ash4Star_Official I was very time limited for arsenal, and not everyone is good at shooting games, I include myself in that, it took me a while to do it cause I kept getting one shot by the huge hoards of overpowered enemies, the hub was decent, I will admit that, but I don't want to see any more remakes of the hunt/the classic, it is going to get boring really quickly, also the blindness by nostalgia isn't limited to you, a lot of people only like it cause of the slapped label
@1ilove_onett I also struggled with Arsenal I'll give you that, but I ended up doing it with friends because it took me sooooo long to beat it by myself, so wat I did what get all the tokens with friends and do the solo one last so I wouldn't have to worry about it. It took me nearly 1 hour to beat it on mobile.

Why is nobody talking about what a PAIN it was to get the tokens in dragon adventures. SERIOUSLY DUDE. its like you have to play through the ENTIRE game. They even offered a PAY TO WIN GAMEPASS that lets you find the eggs way easier. Screw this game bro straight F tier
