The man you spoke to at Kuressaare harbour to is my grandpa 😍 He has been a harbourmaster for a long time, greeting travellers coming in on yachts and caravans for years and really loves his job. Also my childhood home (the same one my grandpa lives in) was in one of the frames, what a cool coincidence! You have also captured the legendary cat called Kaktus, who lives in the castle park and is well known amongst the locals. What a cool video, glad you enjoyed the islands. Greetings from Saaremaa 😊

And your grandpa is super cool person, unfortunately I did not ask his name, but we left him small polish souvenir ;) in return of his kindness and hospitality! And thanks for Kaktus disclaimer - we did suspect he is some kind of local celebrity, as he was very friendly with everyone and let to pet him etc. :D Islands are great, we will come once again for sure!
Köpu lighthouse is not more the third oldest working lighthouse, but numerous of years ago (maybe 5-6 years) it took the first place, because two oldest worlds lighthouses, one in Spain and the another in Ireland stopped their work as lighthouses. So - nowadays Köpu lighthouse is the worlds oldest working lighthouse.
I hope that you didn’t get lyme’s disease from the tick. I loved your sense of humor and adventure! I love Estonia, but haven’t been to the islands. I need to go back for another visit.
I love to watch videos of people from other countries visiting my homeland and seeing it through their eyes. Why did you choose Saaremaa and Hiiumaa? It is not always that windy :)

Beautiful video and insightful! Thank you. We are visiting Europe after helping a new school open in Lviv. We are in Krakow for one month, then we will be in Tallinn for another month while I apply for a Digital Nomad Visa. Estonia looks amazing!!
