- Gul de pa zulfo is a pashto folk song which is widely sung and performed in many gatherings around KPK (Pakistan) and some regions of Afghanistan from decades.
It also recorded by many renowned singers like Ustad Nashenas, Sardar Ali Takkar, Ustad Khyal Muhammad, Bakhtiar Khattak, Rashid Khan and many others.
Gul de pa zulfo is an original ghazal which is written by Muhammad Din Teilee. It is later fused with other lyrics, and with the passage of time it took the shape of “Tappas” and nowadays in gatherings it is always sung with different lyrics rather than the original ghazal.
We came up with this new version of Gul de pa zulfo, which is fused with the new lyrics, composition and new rabab pieces. It is probably the first time for a female vocalist to sing it.

The first time i listened to this song was from my boy when we met for the first time... Now till i call him randomly and used to ask him to sing this beloved song for me... It still reminds me of his presence... It puts a sweet and blushy smile on my face... I dont even understand a single sentence... He used to make me understand its lyrics... And it is joyful to understand its lyrics while seeing in his sparkling and smiley eyes...
