The engine is rock solid in reliability, easy to hand start, and super smooth, but it is down on power compared to a DA70 or GP76. My VVRC 60 single is actually also noticeably stronger with the same 24x8 propeller. If you like the smoothness of a twin and you don't need max performance it's a good engine. I've seen the GP pull around a bigger plane, 92" AJ Laser, and it was more impressive than this engine on my smaller plane.
@@jawsmod 300 rpm with the 60cc single also spooling up much faster. It's easier to control altitude in post stall 3D with the twin being smoother and slower to spool up.
