Harry Potter Minidolls Makeover | A Lego DIY Doll Repaint

- It’s makeover time - it's always bugged me that my favourite Harry Potter characters weren't Lego minidolls so with the new releases of Lego Harry Potter sets I decided to paint Hogwarts uniforms for all of them (well, specifically for Hermione, Harry and Ron, but there are a few surprises at the end 😉). The video also has a simple tutorial on how to make a polymer clay tie in your Hogwarts house colours for the minidolls, and I designed a robe that is just right for a tiny wizard! All in all I think they turned out looking just magical, now we just have to Sort the Lego Friends girls because they're keen to start at Hogwarts too! What Houses do you think they belong in? A fun simple DIY craft for your Lego minidolls.

I just love this idea! I just collected ALL of the HP Lego sets (even the huge Hogwarts set), but I'm also starting to collect Lego Friends and Elves sets. This is perfect. Can't wait to start making my own minidolls!
Olivia is definitely Ravenclaw. I'm a Ravenclaw myself.😊 Mia could be a Gryffindor. Andrea... Hufflepuff? Stephaine maybe Gryffindor. Emma Ravenclaw for sure! I can't see them in Slytherin. They are just too nice!

For capes you could use knit fabric (t-shirt material) or coat the edges of the fabric in fray check or something like that, it will stop the edges from fraying.

it is what you value not how other people invision you. That is the typical mistake people make when they are arguing that hermione should be in ravenclaw.
You should paint the heads so Harry and Ron can have green eyes. Or blue for Ron.
Harry Potter is a great movie to watch and it feels like it could be watched at Christmas time because of the music in it

Mia: Gryfindor because she's very daring.
Olivia: Ravenclaw is perfect for her because of the obvious(though electronic devices don't work near Hogwarts).
Emma: Ravenclaw because ravenclaws are supposed to be creative and artistic and Emma loved making things.
Stephanie: Slytherin because she's competitive and in the Lego friends episodes she'd do anything to win, which sounds rather slytherinish(not a word).
Andrea: Hufflepuff because other than she loves her friends(they all are really loyal to each other), I couldn't think of any other house.
But honestly, I bet they wish there was a house they could all be in together. Love your work Ellie!

You can use dance type fabric that is used in leotards and such! That stuff doesn’t fray! Or you can use fabrictac glue to seal the edges of the fabric! Hope these tips help!
