  • We are finally ready to get the pigs into the greenhouse but moving a 600 lbs. boar and a pair of gilts can be a challenge. What works for moving the gilts doesn't necessarily work for the boar.

It's with considerable sadness that I am unsubscribing to your TH-cam channel. In the beginning you were entertaining and talk to me real life with a real Hands-On approach. You're now becoming commercialized have your own web line and I understand the reasons why you do. But what bothers me the most is your reporting to the public my opinion as a physician very unhealthy eating habits and a high-fat diet also I think your view of the need for electrolytes is inaccurate and in some individuals they can be lethal. I followed you for 3 years you have a beautiful family and I respect many ways what what you're doing but I I can't be a part of what misinformation you're spreading

Funny, as a kid I always loved the roast fat, steak fat, and even the fresh-baked ham fat, my brother picked every tiny piece off and gave it to me. That fatty roast broth with the carrots, potatoes, and onions poured over freshly baked bread for lunch the next day was a treat. So good! Marrow tastes wonderful. I miss our homegrown Angus beef.

animal fat, not good for your health and will clog your arteries and all that salt will up your blood pressure. Not a very healthy diet for children, especially overweight children, I would keep an eye on that

@@irenegeorgemessinger1671 Nah, it's processed seed oils like Canola, and Soy oils that are bad for you. Animal fat is the healthiest fat there is. (But of course everything in moderation)

    Hi there!
I’m just an old lady now BUT my father was a GOOD mechanic - bush mechanic from necessity but because of WWII he was put in the Engineers mainly driving/working on both petrol and diesel trucks.
Sounds a little dumb but he was a great believer in ‘COTTA-PINS’. Or maybe you know them as ‘SPLIT-PINS’. With a washer or two between the nuts and end of a difficult situation -- they work wonderfully.
Have a wonderful Christmas with as many people you can call family and close friends. All my love, Ellen.

Good grief how has Henri grown that fast! Time flies way to fast. The roast looked yum craving some marrow now. If you gave the kids a little dipping sauce perhaps it would help. My kids would only chew meat for years and then would spit it out. It was very weird. They loved the taste they said but could not swallow it.....But ketchup, HP sauce even Caesar salad dressing seemed to help over time. The texture I think was the problem at that age. And they eat meat today. I did as you are though let them go through their stages of what they want as our pallet changes over the years. I was never going to do as I had to sit there for three hours until you finished your supper. My sister and I would swap the foods on our plates that we could not eat just to be able to get up when no parent was looking. But we grew to love many of the things we could not eat overtime. So I think its just normal :)
