I think we have to stand back and realise just what he is dealing with: following the iconic Klopp; taking over one of the biggest and most successful clubs on the planet; he won't get his full squad - and most of his first team - back until just before the start of the season. We're currently FIVE first teamers down on last summer and he'll get maximum of one game with that full squad. Finally, he has one of the most frugal ownership set ups in the PL - certainly of the top 4 / 6 . Champage Club : lemonade outlook. It's a huge positive they are "frugal". It means we have focused on expanding Anfield, a state of the art training facility and getting the most out of our players, while treating them like human beings rather than products you just use as part of a business. And lastly, that it also means we are not burdened by debt or needing to offload valuable assets like 90% of PL teams, while having the freedom to go get the ones we like, whenever we like. Spending your money smartly is something most of the clubs could learn from.
Be worse to rush transfers in and get it wrong than to not risk it until you have fully evaluated the squad. People are hitting the panic button way too early.

By the time LFC decides, the good players we are seeking is more likely to be taken up, so that's not ideal.
