This is my very first time watching this particular video when Jabbawockeez were starting out. There is nothing wrong with comparing them from now to when they started but this group has evolved from the beginning until now. That a reflection on all of the dancers who have performed as Jabbawockeez, especially Gee 1...he was truly an OG in this dance game. Cut to their NBA Finals 2019 and as a 56 year old, old school freestyle dancer, that performance was VINTAGE Jabbawookeez! The personas of wearing the masks just elevates their dance style and anyone should see that they WOOK AS ONE! At my age, I still find comfort and joy in their performances and always find myself getting pumped and hyped by what they bring to the table. We are witnessing true performers who started just like anybody else and have, to this day, achieved a level of fame that few have achieved. Keep doin' your thang, Jabbawockeez!!
Woah and I've just watched this 12 years after! There's something about the Jabbawockeez that makes people love 'em before and until now. They go up the stage to perform and not just to dance. Much respect and love to y'all.
The thing i really liked about this was that the audience was really cooperative and kept quiet for a while so that we could hear the music somewat. all in all, well done. something new and different never hurt anybody. much aloha to all da jabbas all over the world.
Joe Larot handled this one as it was his own. The choreography wasnt at best but they were just getting started :). Best dancers ever as a group and mad respect for Joe this time around, the freestyle at the end was mindblowing. Love from Sweden.
Hi everyone. i know this is a huge late reply, but i would just like you all to please be respectful and leave all negative comments out of this arena. Yes, this is original jbwkz footage from when they started, pre-ABDC, and with the Legendery Gary "GeeONE" Kendall dancing. Check out their Mus.I.C. show in Las Vegas if ya get the chance, you won't regret.... peace.
@ 2:42 you can't even see rainen and chris. (not because of the video but because it's like the spotlight wasn't big enough or whatever) but it's my favorite part of the routine to stuck. :(
if you question that then you obviously dont get WHY they have the masks in the first place. its to highlight their body and their group as a whole. its an intelligent move i think. (:
Byterz man hardowt they do have potential and i enjoyed there performance but ! im still with JabbaWockeez because there freestyles are 10x tighter and more cooler when they move, and Jabba "Slow" you say, how can you say that when there just dancing to what the music gives you and what it feels like thats how i see it. overall Jabba win this battle... sorry brits
Without their masks?? That takes away from the group. Not knowing who's who and seeing them as a whole is part of what makes them stand out from the rest
