    I drive a similar model from Rewaco, but without a windshield (and therefore without a radio). The same power-up procedure, a tribute to the electric immobilizer.
    What made me decide to ride a trike instead of a motorbike? It has a safe handling and a low center of gravity, which is particularly noticeable in tight corners. The rear passenger sits higher and can enjoy the ride more. My wife can drive it with her car license. Good horsepower/weight ratio, overtaking much quicker than with my car. Enough space for 1-2 week trips, it is possible to mount additional bags. Comfortable cruising up to fast motorway journeys possible. And . . . it's FUN to drive!

    I like them even though I have not ridden one and I agree with you that it will appeal to older riders but I also think it will appeal to people who like longer road trips and enjoy the ability to bring more stuff with them. I'm an old man falling apart and I can see me taking that on a cross country tour and take my camping gear

    I am the one who bought this exact bike that @hegshot test drove. It’s so much I could say about it, but to keep it short, I love it. I own several bikes & this is also my 3rd trike. This bike is not perfect, but overall I’m loving it. It rides better than my can am spider & the goldwing trike I owned. Rides better than Cvo trike also, in my opinion. I had problems at the beginning with the ECU & O2 sensor, but they eventually got it right. My wife & I don’t regret kicking out the money for it so far.

    Rewaco trikes are an amazing machine and like you said it’s not for everyone. I’m 73 bought a 2016 Rewaco had mechanical issues found out no one in Arizona would work on it and that’s the problem no maintenance support except in a few states. Finally had to consignment to a motorcycle in Houston finally sold it after 12 months. If Rewaco was well established in the USA I would buy one today. Nice video and I’ll subscribe to your channel.

    I'm digging it! The starting ritual seems kinda "anti theft", or similar to a 1911 in the gun world, if you don't KNOW how it goes, you can't make it go boom.
    That turbo sound, for a trucker, will NEVER got old!! The looks are kinda cool too, as you said, "Porsche like".

    I prefer my F-3S Spyder by Can Am/ BRP! It’s fast and has all the safety features, ABS Traction control,Stability control, cruse control. Brembo breaks stops on a dime and gives 9 cents change every time. Thought I wanted the Manuel but they only offer 6 speed semi automatic, you shift via paddles on the Handel bar. You can downshift by hitting the paddles but it will downshift automatically as you slow down. Love it! My last bike was a Honda Valkyrie with a 1340 flat horizontal apposed 6 that is shared with Goldwing. Thought I would miss the shifting. I was wrong! It has 2 wheels in the front and a big 225X15 in the rear. It feels like a formula 1 race car on the street! Spring has sprung and summer is just around the corner!! Oooh la la! BTW the motor is a Rotax 1330cc 3 cylinder 115 Hp and 96 ftlbs of twist! The motors are made in Australia 😮(owned by BMW Motorcycles) this thing i a rocket! Oh yea I almost forgot, upshifting is required but down shifting is optional or it will downshift as you slow down. 😎
    Mine was used with 705 miles on it. Paid under $20000.00 + TTL It also comes in touring models with rear bags, trunk, air suspension and all models (like mine) come with a Fronk (front trunk).

    • @HegshotRides
      @HegshotRides  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Idk how the steering is on the new Tri Glides but the 17 I rode was not great where this one is pretty smooth. I’d say, ride both if you can and if the dealer won’t let you ride,assuming you have your motorcycle endorsement, tell them you’re going to buy somewhere else. You really need to ride both and see which one you like the best

      I owned a 2019 HD Tri Glide Ultra and the ride was not good at all. Steering was a push-pull in the turns and took quite a bit of effort. The heat from the engine was almost unbearable on 90+ degree days. Our local Indian dealer (Marietta,GA) just received a shipment on these Rewako trikes. I looked them over and the build quality is excellent but I did not ride one. Until they fill out their dealer network, I wouldn't want to take a long trip on one.

    You sounded surprised when describing the radio being waterproof, maybe a boat radio. Anybody with a motorcycle stereo should understand that marine grade audio equipment is basically what is required for motorcycle use. It should go without saying, but their waterproof. So no damage should occur if you get caught in the rain or when washing your bike.

    • @Hegshot87
      @Hegshot87 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2
