It's about the boundaries that were crossed. it doesn't matter whether strickland is a former champ because once hes beating his head in repeatedly he's gone way past sparring. Maybe sneako just wanted more internet clout and knew what he was getting into though. Sparring is when you trade blows...not when one guy suddenly starts bashing another guy's face more than a hand full of times in a row. There's more than one reason why sneako would feel embarrassed, but with people like yourselves to reassure him he'll be fine..

What I don’t get is all these people criticizing Sean for “not being able to drop/ finish Sneako”. It was blatantly clear he was only throwing ~40% power shots, which weren’t finishing blows, Obviously he wasn’t trying to finish him.
Then these same people are criticizing Sean for “going too hard on an amateur” and “failing to flatline him therefore his skills/ power is embarrassing” in the same breath. What really happened is Sean gave a willing participant a taste of a real fight, but held back to avoid serious damage.
That was not 40%, that was like 80. Sean always spars full power, he doesn't care if person is amateur.

I would love this tbh. Getting humbled and knowing where you’re on the food chain is instead of just being a fan is good for the soul. Has everyone already forgotten when Sneako was insulting and bullying Mikey Muscuemi, who he clowned and labled as being a jijitsu nerd who for some reason Sneako's narcissistic arrogance had him convinced that he could lay hands on Mikey with his 8 whole months of boxing training. Sneako's on the Jake Paul career trajectory, trying to shake the "influencer" title for something more aligned with his idol Andrew Tate, who went from combat sports to being a social media personality. A much better trajectory than being the guy who actually thinks that being successful on TH-cam will translate to success in combat sports.

How are people confused about how serious Strickland was? I saw a lot of serious 70% punches towards the end. He wanted him to fall with the last 4. He said so himself. Everyone that sparred before knows that this was not a sparring session. This was a lesson about life. Sneako took it well he has a good chin. It is what it is.

What’s funny is that there are dozens of videos of UFC fighters absolutely destroying “trolls” “street fighters” “toxic person”. And in more than a few videos, other UFC champs, contenders etc, are just annihilating and continuing to hit helpless and sometimes unconscious opponents. Out of all of these gym troll grudge fights Strickland is far from the worst. Just my take, it’s factual and provable.
Sean is smart, he knows how much his opponent can take. He pushes his sparring partner always.
This puts in to perspective the difference between people who think they can fight vs people who make their whole life about it.

To keep sparring, even after towels are thrown, even after the person is no longer defending themselves, until someone pulls them off?

Tell me you don’t have any experience in martial arts training without telling me. What Strickland did WAS NOT SPARRING. When you spar, you typically go somewhere between 30-70%. You NEVER throw the kind of bombs Strickland was throwing. You NEVER try to actually HURT your sparring partner. What Strickland did was straight up scummy. All of the reasons you’re using to defend Sean, are actually all the very reasons he should’ve humbly held back and simply displayed martial arts prowess. No one thought Sneako would win, including Sneako. Sean was 100% being a bully.
