  • Now that we've turned back time to the nineteen thirties, seems like a good opportunity to get some pre-war Southern engines running on the layout, so we've got some matching Olive coaches being pulled by some Olive coloured engines!
Along with the single goods train just to mix it up a bit more, sadly some of my other Southern engines need to be chipped still, so had to go with just these three!
As always feel free to see what I've got listed below and suggest two locos for me to run and what to pull behind them, and I'll put the most popular suggestion in for next time!

Hi James. Lovely to see Southern locos. I have to say that I think that the layout looks much better without the tower block. The park looks great. Pete.

Glad you enjoyed the running session Pete, and do agree that the layout does look better without the tower block, been tempted to leave it off completely!

Ever consider putting your phone in a freight type carriage and let it capture video as the carriage rolls through your layout? Background is really nice.

Sadly my phone would be far too large for an N Gauge loco to move (it also wouldn't fit through the bridge/tunnel), I have managed to make a camera wagon before, however the quality isn't the best, there is a short I made some time ago where I used it.
